"This restaurant was AMAZING! From the food to the service staff, everything was impeccable! I ordered chicken that was seasoned and fried to perfection! The cheese grits were creamy and did not have to have any salt added to them. The pancakes were huge! They have this homemade syrup that is very good with hints of praline or some kind of nut. They served HUGE pancakes! I will definitely return."

"First we sat fast, no waiting time at this time of the day.. Yes! Then we were a little on the slow side with our waiter. But omg the service was awesome food great and hot was just great our waiter was amazing and nice very nice and that makes you want tip really good and he was such a wonderful pleasure to speak with just nice. "I've always been told to go to the Purple onion, it being a west Alabama staple, went in for the first time and was not disappointed. The hummus was amazing, the pilaf delicious, my kebabs perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will definitely come back whenever Im in the area."

"We love this Chinese place every time we come, we get great portions of food. I ordered the egg fried rice add Broccoli $8) and my mother for the chicken fried rice add Broccoli $10). We are so used to Chinese places where the prices are high and the servings are small. So coming here is so refreshing because we always have leftovers, which I think is their goal. Because they ask us every time, whether we? will be able to finish everything. You? ve definitely deserves customers for life!"

"The service was good. The food was good. I've been here before, but it's not my favorite place because it's dark. Half the restaurant is built in a hill. I say that... the desserts are great. So delicious and homemade. We took 3 desserts to go and it was as wonderful as they packed everything with instructions on preparing warm desserts. My favourite item we ate for this late lunch was the fetters Alfredo with grilled chicken."
