"On a Saturday morning, this place is packed. It's no wonder with the great coffee you get from here. They have a basket of fresh breads you can purchase or select something out of the cabinet. The savoury muffin is really good. <br/>The staff are very friendly."

"The lunch places available for a plant eater like me are few and far between where I work, so I relished the opportunity to visit here on a rare jaunt from the office. Power bowl was scrummy but I noticed my portion was noticably smaller than the person before and after me. So as others as mentioned, it depends on who you get serving you. I guess if you are a regular you will soon get to know who! So a bit pricey for how much I got but still yum"

"Excellent! Gourmet Japanese at its best!<br/ <br/ The food at Ozeki is superb. Always fresh and prepared<br/ with caring attention to detail. Each dish is lovingly created and absolutely delicious.<br/ The presentation in bento boxes and Japanese artistic crockery<br/ looks great too! Check out the pictures on the Ozeki Facebook page and the Ozeki website. I had the bento box with teriaki vegetables, agadashi tofu<br/ and assorted tempura along with rice, miso soup and a green<br/ garden salad dressed with a tasty vinagarette. The menu is huge and includes the whole range of sashimi, sushi and delectable appetizers like dumplings, edamame, skewers and fritters.<br/ If you're unsure what to order, the friendly staff are always willing to make suggestions for a wonderful selection.<br/ Ozeki is vegetarian and vegan friendly. They will make sure to cater for your personal dietary needs. It is family owned and the cozy warm atmosphere reflects this. The chairs are comfortable and the tables are made from feel at home wood.<br/ This place is without doubt, the absolute go to Japanese restaurant in Wellington.<br/ The staff really care and treat every guest with respect and personal attention."

"Delicious food! Just wish I asked for a spicier curry or chilli to add. I had the Lamb Rendang, delicious and tender. Family enjoyed their meals (forgot to take photo's of all dishes we ordered). The floor staff were busy and perhaps short staffed (seems to he the norm now everywhere). But, we were served with a smile and nothing forgotten and food was fast. Just a let down was the other diners who kept leaving the front door open, letting in the cold air. We had to frequently get up to close the door. For my family of 4, we paid $130, which was 3 mains, 2 starters, 1 Roti drinks."

"Family operated and conveniently located close to the beach, this place pumps over Summer and is affordable and fairly quick. The fish isn't as good as Bay Takeaways, but it's still reasonable for the price. I'm not a fan of the pork buns, but I like their combo packs for fish n chips. Really good, I've been here about 15 times and enjoyed it each time. Staff are friendly too, even when they seem a bit under the pump!"

"In our travels today visiting restaurants, we popped into this little restaurant. I visited this venue 3 years ago and it was a small takeaway serving good wholesome meals. WOW – what a change! A lovely little restaurant, very quaint, pleasant ambience, great service and Yes a Fantastic Meal. This Restaurant specialises in Biryani. I had the Lamb Biryani, accompanied with a Garlic Naan and yoghurt. The Lamb was so tender and moist and the Chefs combination of rice, spices and mixed fruit and nuts is “I must say” a pleasant surprise. Compared to many Biryanis, being bland and lacking in flavour, this is the Best Biryani I have had in years. We also had a Lamb Saagwala which was flavoursome and tasty. A big compliment to the Chef’s and I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent meal in Wellington."

"Very nice lunch, amazingly flavourful. I also appreciated the impeccable service despite being a party of one. The only minor criticism is the wine list by the glass. With all the great wines available in New Zealand it would be nice to have more local choice."
