"My husband and I wanted to try a new place, somewhere we had not been. We eat out a lot. So Cru-Bistro's menu looked interesting. Reserving a table on OpenTable was easy. Being it was a Sunday night, we probably didn't need reservations. They weren't that busy at 6pm. With that said, staff was very friendly, service was very quick and dinner was excellent! I had the 4oz petit filet and my husband had the shrimp and grits. We each tried the others dinner and both were very good! Our taste buds were doing a happy dance. Because it was our anniversary, Cru-Bistro treated us to a dessert. The kiwi cheesecake with mango topping was VERY yummy and different. Needless to say we will be back. The wild mushroom pizza sounds like something we have to try next."

"This place was okay. We liked what we got but we didn’t love it. For the price I think we just expected more. We usually go to Connors and tried branching out to other “nicer” restaurants but we just kept comparing it to Connors and it just wasn’t as good. Everyone at our table got something so that we tried a good variety of options and we will say the bisque was pretty good! We did notice that it seemed like an older crowd land our grandparents enjoyed their plates more than the rest of us."

"I hate to leave a bad review because I have dear memories of coming here when I was younger. Maybe it was a night, but it'll be a long time if I ever give it a shot. I ordered a med-rare prime rib. It came med-well, and boiled uneven. They brought me another one who was still well done, which was kind of insulting, and preferred them if they were out of her. For the third time they brought me a medium, then I didn't want to complain and just ate it. It was not bad, but not that melt in your mouth, rich taste I remember. Then the salmon of my wife was unseasonal, (fein, but not so big), the red velvet was extremely dry, and a climax of other little things was not worth mentioning. But they composed it, and everyone was nice, so I tried to come by and reduce my losses, although it was quite disappointing for my birthday. But then in the middle of the night I woke up awfully sick with some of the worst food poisoning I remember. Of course, I can't say that I got it from there, but the timing was awfully random and it seems more unlikely to be of everything I had eaten. That was the last nail in the coffin for me. When a chef sends a well-deserved steak to med-rare re-cook, it makes me wonder."
