"I have eaten here a few times and because it's close to my house I keep going. The service was subpar at best. My daughter and I waited for a server to greet us at our table for almost 10 minutes after we were seated. I finally went to the bar and asked a random employee if we could get someone to come take our order and the host ended up returning to assist us. I ordered grilled shrimp. Have you ever tried to remove the shell from shrimp AFTER its been seasoned and grilled. If you'd like to try your hand at it, go here and get it. Unless you have the patience of a Saint, you will find yourself frustrated rather quickly. I wouldn't have been upset about it if the menu would've stated the shrimp will be cooked and served with the entire shell on. Needless to say, I didn't finish it. My daughter enjoyed her crab legs so that was a plus. I would not recommend this place unless you just REALLY want seafood and want to spend money for average food and before average service."

"Good food, great bang for the buck. I 've been here for lunch and dinner, and the food is solid nothing special, but solid. The 'spicy ' dishes could stand to have some more spice, but that 's the only complaint I have.<br/ <br/ Bang for the buck? This place serves a LOT of food for the money, and lunch strikes me as an especially good deal. Even with soup, rice, and eggroll included, most lunches are around $7.<br/ <br/ Since I 'm a cheap bastard, I 'll be back."

"My wife and I went to BJ last year and were very impressed-- good food, good service, maybe a bit expensive, but taste and quality of the entrees was great, so no deal breaker. We went back this week and it was another experience. Our waitress disappeared several times and took a while to take order, then was a long time before our food came. We ordered Dessert to go as it was $3 Pizookie night, and it took a remarkably long time to get our To-go order and check again. In fact, another waiter took care of us, brought food and then the check out. We asked him if we could give him the tip to identify and cover our situation, but he laughed and said he didn't worry that he was basically silly to help the other staff. I should mention that there are 3-4 tables filled (not counting the bar that their own waiting staff) and at least 2-3 waiters on the restaurant side, so not sure what was going on. A very slow night, so. What should have been an hour of meal with a togo dessert took two hours. I ordered an Asian peanut chicken with noodles and while the taste was brilliant, the part was extremely small. It had about half a chicken breast, cubed, about a 1/4 cup of broccoli flakes and maybe a cup of noodles. Served in a flat soup bowl, it hardly covered the floor. I asked the waiter who broke it out when it was the midday portion, and he smiled and apologised and said they got so much with this article. I felt like I had an appetizer and my stomach was waiting for the meal to get down. All in all, no pleasant evening as in the past in this restaurant. My wife had a shrimp with quinoa and cauliflower and liked it. Her part was normal too large, so not sure why I was cheated with a child-sized amount of an otherwise wonderfully flavored plate."

"Eating was not so good. it wasn't terrible. there was a young boy who could hardly see about the food counter to get his own food, and what he spilled, he took it off and put it back in the food container! finally no ice machine. that's a deal breaker for my man. we will probably not be back."
