"This place was HIGHLY recommended by a neighbor of a friend, and WOW WOW WOW super glad we made the time to explore this venue because everything was really delicious here! We ordered: eggplant in Szechuan sauce, honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, chicken corn soup, Mongolian beef, and General Tso's chicken. Every dish was really spectacular and we just really enjoyed the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the super personable waiter who served us. This is a MUST STOP for Oceanside eats!"

"Best restaurant breakfast I've had in a while! Chai latte was really good. The service was fast. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere. Staff also looked like they enjoyed where they worked. I think that says a lot about a business! I would definitely visit again!"

"Believe me, I've experienced my share of To-go-pho. first, the broth is unbelievable that I think she has ingwer in it. I can see why they have an option on the menu for just brunching. yum. the To-go presentation makes sense! the broth was hot and they also precooked the sweet, so they did not add with half boiled ingredients through the time that they add it to broth when they are home. the brokkoli and cabbage were so tender and so delicious. they also put the vegetables in a separate bowl so that they can simply pour the broth into the bowl. the staff was super friendly, even if they were busy, to answer calls when I came. plus! the bathroom was open and very clean (because they know priorities during the covid times.)"

"WOW! Food was fantastic. Not the typical fast-food Chinese restaurant. Sure, they have orange chicken, beef broccoli, etc. But they also have mu shoo, fu Yung, fried rice your way (vegetable, egg, meat or shrimp). They even have my favorite hot sour soup.We got 2 entrees, soup, fried rice and 2 sodas. Seemed a bit expensive until we saw the huge portions. Definitely going back.Patio dining is open."

"If you are from the San francisco bay Area this place will remind you of home. It is hard to find good authentic Chinese food in San Diego and of course you have to go to an obscure location hidden away like The Mandarin to get your fix. Prices are good, portions are large, history is long and the pork fried rice and sweet and sour pork are a great combination."

"The food was good, but ... several items were not available; I ordered something that contained a drink, and they had no icy as the machine was down. I don't drink limonade or limonade, so I just had water. similar happened last time I went: many were out of service, so we could not order anything that needed one of them, i.e. a baked kartoffel. the girl took our order, but the (younger) people at the table next to us had to order from the table gadget. we all had to pay on the same place and we had commanded three so that they could not work. so frustrating. we said it was because of covid. no, it's a transition to less customer service! I gave three stars because it was good to eat, but the customer service was not. after two non-so-good experiences with limited selections of dips and drinks and impersonal customer service, I will go elsewhere. there are too many other places to choose."
