"What scrumptious food! Finally dined here last week for a friends birthday and OMG is all I can say. We had a table of about 10 people, generously kept ordering plates and food only came to $15 per person! We considered the $40 per person option to taste a bit of everything so am glad we opted to just chose ourselves. We tried all the Hummus plates and could not get enough. The best hummus I have ever experienced served in large bowls topped with delicious delights. The beef was a favourite, but the mushroom, freekah and chicken all amazing. The lamb with labneh was one of my other favourites. Our only gripe was the pita bread that was served cold and was not homemade. The pomegranate lemonade had no fizz :( We spent just as much on booze getting quite in to the wine and beer. The wine was served with large stemless glasses which was great. Was having too much fun to take any pics :P"

"So glad so many people have had a positive experience with this restaurant recently as our UberEATS meal we had from them them tonight was almost inedible. The cauliflower that came in the mixed veg had some kind of black tinge all over it, our squid in the squid salad was made from frozen squid and was like eating rubber, the massaman beef curry looked like they ran out of sauce and added 3/4 water to the container. The rice was dry as was the phad thai. For close to $80 there are Ka-zillions of better thai restaurants and I wouldn't risk a bad meal and spend a dollar with them again. Disappointing and just foul."

"Great venue for live music! We were there for A Fringe show, which was great! Beer was reasonably priced for an establishment on the terrace, however, ordering the nachos was a total blunder. Nachos were subpar, overcooked, marinara sauce instead of salsa, avocado paste of some sort instead of guac."

"Ate here for breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Service was friendly and efficient, the Huevos Ranchero's with crispy eggs were filling the eggs a surprise as they looked breaded and fried but were still soft inside whilst the poached eggs on the hot smoked salmon with hollandaise were cooked perfectly. The menu is seasonal and changes which makes it a great place to eat at."

"The beers were exceptional, the atmosphere electric, especially for a Tuesday night and the pistachios overpriced ($8 for a bowl of about 20).<br>
I'd happily return for the beers and to sample the menu. Worth a look."

"Cheese burger and chicken sandwich with fries was nice. There was a yummy smokey flavour on the fries and the chicken was super crunchy. I wasnt sold on the hot sauce wished I could've swaps that for something else but they don't do Aoli or Mayo. We got a nice ranch to dip our chips in though.<br>

The menu didn't have the croquettes everyone on here was raving about which is a little sad and the menu is quite small. But what we ordered they did we'll. The food was yum and the service was friendly and fast (only us and two other tables full at the time)"

"Lunch today in the city at the Sentinel which I have walked past a few times and wondered what it was like inside. I walked in and it was busy at 12.45 on a Friday. Lots of office workers having lunch. I was promptly greeted and seated in the side of the restaurant which was a little quieter. My waitress asked me if I wanted water and gave me the menu along with the specials. I decided to go with the special of the day a slow cooked beef brisket with pearl barley risotto, parsnip puree and mushroom sauce, and I asked the waitress which red wine she would recommend. She suggested the Italian wines Sangiovese or the Dolcetto. I was not sure and asked if I could have a taste of both, and I was given two small glasses to try. The Dolcetto was a very unusual but excellent wine, slightly crisp and hints of berries; I ordered a glass of this. I also received complimentary bread and some nice herb butter. The beef came out fairly quickly and was beautifully presented. The flavor of the beef was delicious, and loved the creaminess of the puree. All elements were perfect, however, I found that I could have done with a little more sauce or puree as I ran out and the beef needed a little sauce. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and good food and wine, definitely will come back."

"A group of friends visited here for drinks on Saturday night and was looking forward to a relaxing evening catching up.The place wasn't too crowded and we were able to grab a seat. Unfortunately not enough seating for everyone and they closed the upstairs area so you couldn't sit upstairs in the outdoor area.The bar was crowded and they clearly didn't have enough staff to cater for the amount of patrons they had, or enough seats (even high bar seats). The music was ridiculously loud, so you had to shout in your friends ear to be heard. We gave up after an hour and left.I've been here in the daytime before and it was a much more enjoyable time during the day than at night."
