"The restaurant was so loud, my man and I couldn't talk without raising our voices. that brought the first was not what I ordered and was sent back. I asked if it were in order to replace kartoffels and brokkoli for the reispilaf and damped spinat. I was told, but was charged $4.00 for the kartoffels and $3.00 for the brokkoli along with the regular price of the entree. our salate was delivered halfway through the meal. the manager took the charge for the salate we did not eat and the $7 for the substitutions to mine. our server was very nice, but admitted that it had been hired only 2 days before and after my opinion had not enough training to treat tables and articles alone. she was 18. I wouldn't have complained if you hadn't asked because we didn't want to go back. Thank you. jam"

"Never have I ever had bad service at this Olive Garden location. We only had a 15 min wait and was waited on immediately. Our server was extremely kind and nice, and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves and that our drinks were topped off. At the end of our experience we got the wrong desert but she fixed the issue! I’m not a 100% fan of the food. It just never seems to have a bold taste, nonetheless, you get full and enjoy your time! Will be back like always!"

"Realistically I cannot think of one honest thing to criticize this fine establishment over. I've been eating here for years now, the food is wonderful, cooked fresh to order. Prices are more than affordable, with lunch getting you a soup, egg roll and entree for around ten dollars per person. The atmosphere is wonderful, staff incredibly friendly, and despite always being packed I've never had to wait to be seated. Hands down when Chinese is on the table the first thought is always Imperial Cathay. There are a lot of other good Chinese restaurants in Shreveport, but this place is the best. If that ever changes, I'll be sure to update this review, considering I so very rarely hand out five stars. A resistant has to truly be near-perfect to hold that ranking in my book. Don't ever change, Imperial Cathay! As far as recommendations go, the orange chicken and the combination low mein are my personal favorites. With the chicken chowder as the soup. Along with all the fried wontons you can eat."

"It tasted as if it was cooked by Americans trying to imitate Chinese cuisine. I saw that many people said this was the best Chinese restaurant in Shreveport. If that's the case, I'll never try the rest. Crab? Rangoon didn't taste like it had an ounce of crabs in it and the sour cream cheese they use is definitely something cheap from brand. The roasted rice was absolutely nasty and very salty. I'm also used to having vegetables in my fried rice. The only one in the rice is here and there are fried egg pieces. I had to add duck sauce to fried rice to make it pale. I would not dare to add soy sauce to fried rice unless you want to end up in one of the local emergency rooms in a hypertensive crisis from an overload of sodium. The 2-star rating was because the sesame chicken tasted well. I doubt very much that I would apply this business again. Especially, pay $35.06 (Doordash) and have higher expectations than what I received. Honestly, if I had taken the time to read the other reviews before I ordered from this restaurant, I wouldn't have protected the business at all. Hindsight is always 20/20."

"This was our first visit. There was no wait to be seated by a friendly hostess. We were seated next to the open kitchen so I could see the food being prepared. I had the stuffed chicken and my husband had the spaghetti.Both were very tasty. The chicken was moist. Our server Olivia was amazing. She kept our drinks filled and our table cleared. She just glided by and there was a fresh drink. The portions are generous so we had a lot to take home. Olivia had already made a container of fresh bread, olive oil and basil along with to go drinks. The atmosphere was nice, no loud overbearing music. The only issue was a tall male server complaining loudly about something. He neededto talk in private with the manager, not out on the floor. Overall the atmosphere was wonderful, the food is great,and the service was outstanding."
