"Mixed review of the food. Some of our group enjoyed their meals, others were left disappointed. Personally my meal was fine other than I'd question the wild' mushrooms in my Wild Mushroom burger. What little mushrooms that were in the burger certainly weren't wild. But...only a minor complaint from myself. Two members of our group barely touched their mains. Those that ordered the prawn starters said they lacked flavor. The turkey club sandwich as a main left a lot to be desired. Given the layout it was difficult to get the attention of staff to order additional drinks etc. so we were left waiting for some time for a refill."

"In a town like Sligo with no shortage of good eateries Bridgefoot House stands out for the quality of its offering in very pleasant surroundings right in the heart of town. Being a Saturday evening we had pre booked on the recommendation of our hosts and were so pleased when Alan fitted us in as the food experience was exceptional. In this day and age it is refreshing to find staff who were both informative and passionate about every aspect of the food and wine on offer but all done in a calm and relaxed manner in keeping with the restaurant itself. We had well presented glazed lamb rib and slow cooked beef starters that exploded with flavour followed by mains of Lemon Sole and Halibut accompanied with the tastiest potatoes roasted in CPD butter. It is seldom that we forgo dessert but so inviting did the starters sound followed by quite delicious mains that we shared a strawberry cannoli to finish a superb dinner experience. We will definitely return here next time."

"I was recently back to home and went to gourmet meal for lunch, the place is very clean and bright and the staff friendly and very helpful. the lady who served us explained the specials to us and gave us a complete explanation of all. fresh salads available, of which a choice with the special came. I had courgette quiche with a carrot and orangensalat and broccoli feta salat my partner had a huh and mushroom cake with julie salate and noodles. it was all delicious, I don't remember when I had something so nice. I also had a mocha and my partner a cappuccino, both made with freshly ground coffee, the taste was amazing and the foam on the cappuccino was a joy! we will definitely return when we are home. to gourmet paradise."
