"If you are looking for Chinese Food with a difference, try this restaurant on Spadina, just north of Dundas. We tried a variety of dishes and were so pleasantly surprised. All these were really good - fried chicken wings, hamburger (mmmm delicious), roast chicken on rice, tempura battered broccoli. I heard that they are popular for the Chinese style steamed chicken with sauces. Service is very friendly and the restaurant gets crowded."

"Actually, one of the best vegan eats in toronto. so simple and modest, but tasty. their quality is top notch and they are always so consistent. many tasty dishes to choose all gluten free and vegan! note: this is a buffet to pay for their eating after weight. I'm usually not a buffet at all, but I would eat every day at fennel organic when I lived in toronto. some of the dishes: gf nudeln, yamsschale, hummus, brown rice dish, tofu marinated in tamari. so good."

"Went to celebrate our anniversary here, great experience in terms of service and the ambiance. We couldn't make a reservation so we did a walk in to their roof top area, which was pretty nice. Food was both good and bad. The jalapeño hummus and the ceviche was delish. The lamb skewers were good too. The beef ribs were quite over done to the point that you could barely take them apart. Overall our experience was good but would have loved the food to be a bit better. Our server was very sweet and checked up on us multiple times."

"A small, primarily takeout, Thai fast food restaurant with just a few seats. Great take on the Make Your Own Meal concept: Start with rice, salad, vermicelli or other bases, add one of several protein choices (beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, tofu) and top with a choice of delicious curries from mild to hot, including tamarind and peanut versions. Finish with veggies such as brocolli, carrot, cucumber, edamame, mango salad or even pickled papaya. The food is clearly fresh and prepared with care; the kitchen is open and clean, and the owners are really friendly and helpful. Delivery is available using Foodora, and online ordering is available, too. Meals are $9, kids' menu is $5 and lunch specials are also featured daily. Standard soft drinks are available."
