"Prices were high but expected. We went on a Sunday afternoon 5:30pm. The place was almost deserted. There were WAY more employees than customers yet our service was awful. Noticed the same with other tables. People were having to go to the check in desk and ask for their waiter. Could never find our waiter when we wanted him. We never got refills. Almost 2 hours we were there. If it wasn’t a “required” tip of 20% we wouldn’t have left one at all. Never going back even if it were a free meal."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. Burnt cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Entries had great favor and good selection. We had first course of Caprice Salat, which was not exceptional but brussel sprouts were wonderful. Our ducks were lambs, shrimps and grits and trout, all wonderful. Not impressed by our Dessert selections. They were from our first choice of wine and dessert. Delivery with invoice with wine fee. Waiter recommended wine and said it cost less than what we wanted, but when bill came fee was more than menu price. 3 tries to make it right. Would have been nice if managers had talked to us. Could have a better customer service."

"Awesome place! A hidden gem in Richmond. Small but lively place with lots of character. We had a bottle of wine, eggplant pasta and mussels and all of it was delicious. It gets a little loud and isn't really a place for kids."

"Had reservations on Monday evening (for 12), which were cancelled on Sunday evening for my sales team. it was said that the restaurant work on HVAC system was made and should be open again on Thursday. I thought, perfect! it is my jubilee on Thursday, so I made reservations on open table . there was a call at 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, that they bc “the renovations were not done”. have re-booked on Friday (and got a babysitter). never canceled a call, but showed up to find an empty restaurant. on the fb informed to find out what happened. read the message, but never reacts. terrible way to make business and now I have doubts whether they will ever open. they save themselves the disappointment and go to another fabulous rva restaurant."

"I’ve been to Lolita’s a few times in the past. The last two visits have been subpar. The drinks at Lolita’s are 10/10. The food, however, is lacking. The advertisement for New Years brunch was for “bottomless mimosas”. However, upon ordering it wasn’t bottomless, not even an option for bottomless. It was $15 pitcher (Which is fine, very reasonable price, but not what was advertised which is why I specifically made reservations). All in all I would return for pre dinner drinks, but not for dinner."
