"Intrigued by the long Flammkuchen list displayed outside the restaurant, we decided to give the Em Kroenche a try. My initial worry that it would be difficult to find a table without reservation quickly vanished as we entered the restaurant. There were empty tables but...not too many, so it didn't feel like a dead place. The ambiance is a bit oldfashioned, but not necessarily in a bad way it definitely feels German. I ordered a bruschetta and a Flammkuchen chorizo and manchego. The Bruschetta was good, but I was a bit disappointed with my Flammkuchen. The chorizo was actually some sort of pepperoni and wasn't really spicy. There was a bit of cheese on the Flammkuchen, and I trust that was manchego, but it could have been anything. I could not really feel the cheese. One reason might be that the cook seems to like putting a lot of Lauch on his Flammkuchen way too much if you ask me. Anyway, the result was not bad per say, but not really what I had expected. I wish my Flammkuchen had real chorizo and more cheese a fair demand for a Flammkuchen. If you really want to try their Flammkuchen, maybe you should go for a more classic variation"
