"My girlfriend and I have been having take outs from the Everest Wok for a couple years now, the food is excellent, plenty of flavour and the portions are really good. I always feel stuffed after eating here. They offer exceedingly good value for money, especially if you are eating on a budget. The options we tend to go for are; Udon Noodles, Black Bean Sauce, Sliced Beef Brown Rice, Black Bean Sauce, Sliced Beef Chicken Dumpling (Nepalese Momo Salt Chill Spare Ribs Trust me you will not be disappointed and will be very full after this meal!! (you have to try the momo as this is a signature Nepalese item! I really cannot believe the bad reviews on here. Everything I have eaten from Everest Wok has always been very fresh and bursting with flavour. This is why we keep returning. My girlfriend and I have eaten at virtually all of the take away noodle bars in Cardiff and Everest Wok is by far the best. The food is all prepared and cooked fresh right in front of you. The fact they are the only takeaway I know of that offer brown rice is a major plus for me. They are Nepalese people who own run it, they are extremely friendly and pleasant people always offering a smile and gratitude. I really wish they would sell themselves more on this unique selling point (USP and not blend into all the other takeaways out there. The fact they are Nepalese is unique for Cardiff Wales and very interesting as they offer a really nice mix of pan-asian food culture. I wish them all the success at their new premises at 80 Crwys Road and will be supporting them as much as I can. Ignore the bad reviews, I am pretty sure they are fake sabotage reviews from competitors. Like I said we have been eating their food regularly for 2+ years and have never, ever been disappointed."
