"Very good experience overall. Delicious all day breakfast and nachos with beef. Excellently presented. A little scant on meat but very nice. The restaurant is set in an open kiosk like area. The Philippino lady who served us is so sweet."

"The vegan melt sandwich is my favourite sandwich in Christchurch full of vegan cheese and veggies make sure you get it heated. There are always multiple vegan options in the cabinet, sweet and savoury, and the coffee is really nice. Update October 2022 Vegan options starting to lag here. Last two times I’ve visited there’s only been sweet vegan things in the cabinet, nothing savoury, including the delicious sandwich. Disappointing. Updated from previous review on 2021 06 14"

"We stopped in on the way home from a road trip, which also happened to be one their one year anniversary birthday! Great service, friendly staff and yummy food. The empanadas were great! While there's another vegan place close by, don't miss coming to these guys as well!!"

"Went for the desert platter that had been advertised. decided to have some starters before. Every was very tasty. The Jalapeno poppers were more cheesy than I expected still tasted good. The desert platter was lovely. The brownie was a bit dry. The churros were by far my favourite."

"One of the most memorable steaks we’ve tried. We ordered a few dishes to share the Tomahawk, bone marrow and venison carpaccio, and a cheesecake for dessert. It was my first time trying bone marrow and I’m glad I did. It went very nice with the bread provided. The venison carpaccio was good as well, so was the dessert. What stood out for me was the Tomahawk. The steak was cooked medium rare. It had a nicely charred flavour on the outside, and tender on the inside. Would return if I’m ever in the area again. Chatted with the lady at the cashier and discovered that she’s visiting my home country in 2 weeks time. If she reads this “I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as I enjoyed my visit to the restaurant.” :"

"Went to the Twisted Hop purely because it was the first restaurant we drove past and was not disappointed! The staff are very attentive and have a great sense of humor so it is very relaxed dinning. The food was perfect and priced accordingly, would recommend the mushroom risotto. The range of beers and knowledge of wine suited us down to a T and we are already planning on going back for a beer after work some time."
