"Although my children have always loved it here I was never all that fussed about it until a trip yesterday changed my mind so much that I felt compelled to write this review. The staff were very attentive but a particular member called Adelie really made the difference. There was two mistakes on our order which were my fault entirely and he sorted them out really quickly. Also on picking up that it was my daughters birthday they arranged a surprise for her without being asked. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and the Reese’s Creamy Drink was to die for. Adelie also sorted out a miniature sundae for me as I didn’t want anything too big. Well done Kaspa’s very accommodating and great service."

"6 of us had a meal on new years eve and the staff were accommodating and told us up front that the kitchen would close at 7pm. 3 of us ordered belly pork which included a Yorkshire pudding and a selection of market vegetables and...we paid at the till before the meal. Unfortunately the dishes were brought out without the Yorkshire puddings and with just green beans for the veg. We were told that the chef had a different menu and that yorkshire puddings were not on that menu. No offer of an alternative was made and the apology seemed a little late/half hearted. This is a shame because the belly pork itself was very tasty (gravy slightly oversalted) and there were no complaints about the vegetarian sausage dish or the risotto also ordered."

"We hired the conservatory at the Cross Keys for a naming ceremony for our babies and the staff could not have been more attentive. The location is beautiful and the room was perfect for what we wanted Karianne allowed us to go in the night before to set up/ decorate exactly how we liked, and as the room opened up onto the patio/ garden we were then able to use this as it was such a lovely day. They also provided the catering (we opted for a pizza buffet from the wood fired pizza oven) which was amazing, and much more reasonably priced compared to a lot of the quotes we’d received from other venues. I’d even forgotten that we had a vegan coming, but Karianne was more than accommodating and provided her with an additional meal free of charge! Thank you to the Cross Keys all of the staff for enabling us to hold the perfect event here!"
