"At least I will remember where I was when it was announced our queen had died... eating a substandard meal at this place!..we eat out a lot and having had a great meal here 5 years ago persuaded my partner to give it a try.As we have a small dog was only able to sit in the bar..no problem with that...my partner ordered the catch of the day and I ordered the mixed salad..added on protein of the day... smoked salmon,don't worry if you can't see it on the picture...I struggled to see it too!..the sun-dried tomatoes.. roasted peppers and toasted nuts described on the menu were absent...it was basically a packet of salad leaves in a basket.My partner returned my meal confirming it was not as described.A new salad returned after my partner had finished his meal..more of the same ...with additional 2 sun-dried tomatoes...no roasted nuts and about a full pack of smoked salmon thrown on..My partners catch of the day must have been a prepandemic catch...he rated it 3 out of 10... since then it has resided in the freezer....just so disappointing.Lots of intoxicated local people though no doubt increasing the profit margin here on a Thursday night...perhaps just stick to that.Now we know why we were the only ones eating on the bar..... everyone knows.We will never return and hopefully places like this will be exposed by social media...just awful! Warning sign should have been that all bar meals are served in a basket., thought this went out in the eighties!"

"This was a spur of the moment decision as we were let down else where, and wow was I glad. The staff were very accommodating polite, the food was to die for. Not normally a tapas eater, but have been converted it was delicious keep it up will be back."
