"Again, amazing. I was ten times in the lake and was ten times at lewis. a holiday in the lakes would simply not be the same without dinner at lewis. I can't overdo this enough, eat and service is amazing. second to none. every single meal was 5 stars fine dining quality, but with a welcoming experience. thanks lewis’s! also, dog friendly, which is a massive plus."

"We first visited this cafe a year ago on holiday to Bowness; we decided to try it based on all the great reviews. A year later I had a day trip back up to Bowness, and had to stop off at Graze again as I enjoyed it so much the previous visit. This time I was dining alone for lunch with my 6 week old baby and the owner was so lovely and accommodating; helping make space for the pram and even offering to turn the music down a little as she was sleeping (the music wasn't loud, so this wasn't needed... in fact I really liked the music and should have asked what was playing! . As a new mum, little gestures to help make a big difference, and enabled me to enjoy my first trip out solo with my baby where it could have potential been stressful. Anyway; the food was once again perfection. I couldn't decide what to get and opted for the sweet BBQ pork belly rice bowl on the staff's recommendation, and it was delicious! I loved the Japanese bottled drink also- a real treat. The food looks amazing and tastes so fresh and authentic. It's filling without making you feel too full; perfect for lunch. I didn't have time to sample the cakes, but there was a great variety and they all sounded yum. I'll definitely be returning again soon- thank you!"

"We have our high time cake from the bakery in No.4 and it was great! we currently live in devon so knew kendal not very well and we chose the bakery based on their reviews, website and photos and they lived in any case until expectation. we went to the cake tasting and were blown away with the offered varieties of kuchenaromen and came out with completely different flavors when we wanted! we ordered a half-naked cake with 3 different taste layers – celestial white chocolate, lemon salad flower and chocolate guinness. our cake went a storm on our high time, everyone loved the aromen and guests since commented on how good the cake saw/taste! many thanks to melissa and we will dip next time in kendal for cake and coffee."

"Booked a table for my dad’s birthday with family as we offen do. Have been going for years and have always had lovely food. I ordered the special, Lamb Henry for just under £20. What I got was a large salad bowel full of sauce (soup) couldn’t see the lamb and was served with mash which dissolved in a couple of minutes and no other veg. Looked so terrible that I sent it straight back (something I never do) and asked for another meal. Was told I could order something else but would have a long wait! Didn’t bother ordering anything as everyone would have finished theirs. Terrible experience and unfortunately won’t go back. Sad as I had always loved the pub and even worked there for 4 years"
