"3 formules entrée plat, plat dessert ou entrée plat et dessert. le Menu comprenant 2 entrées, 2 plats, 2 desserts au choix qui changent tous les jours produits frais et bien travaillés. Petit prix environ 16 euros pour menu complet. L accueil est très agréable le service rapide et efficace. Ils font aussi traiteur nous les avons pris pour notre mariage et ils ont assuré au top du top !! Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés!"

"This is a restaurant, bar and wine shop rolled into one. Basalt is located next to the now disused cave cooperative in what is now the suburbs of Agde rather than vines. This make parking easy.The space is airy with plenty of natural light. Tables are set amongst wine racks which make up the wine list. We chose from the carte rather than what looked like a popular good value set lunch menu. Unfortunately a couple of dishes we chose were unavailable, understandable as they required fresh seafood, but annoying as disappointment ensued. Our server should have pointed this out when presenting us with menus.Nevertheless, we enjoyed simple tapas starters and a dish of riz de veau and veal kidneys was a tour de force of precise cooking. Monkfish with black pasta was also successful. There are plenty of wines by the glass - just trust your host to choose. Bottles have just a 10€ mark up on caviste prices so somewhere to opt for a fine bottle from the racks distributed in the dining area and grouped by the type of food they match. We'll return and bring some friends."
