"Initially the menu looked great and service seemed okay considering it was the day after Boxing Day. However, we ordered 4 meals and they all came out about 10 minutes apart, Luke warm, extras were forgotten and the hollandaise was questionable. No one followed up about our food and we got a limp apology for the forgotten food. Expensive for what it was. Would not got back or recommend."

"Cute and tidy little premises at a very nice location in Takapuna. Joe was very engaged and interacted well with customers. It was a unique menu (with a few dishes a fusion of European and Indian cuisine) which worked well together: good flavours and appearance. Definitely worth a visit!"

"Another gem not on the trendy strip of Tamaki Drive but who cares. The food and coffee is great and cheaper than most places in the area. Eggs Benedict and Fish n Chips delicious. Decor simple but don't judge a book by it's cover. A find."

"Hadn’t been to Vivace since they moved. We had the set menu all food was well made. Really good value almost too much food. <br/>Service was good. Only issue was that the bar was a bit slow 2 people serving on a Friday night, needed more staff. Was a really good drinks cocktails menu though."

"Went there a couple of weeks ago after calling an having found out that they have a separate vegan menu. Had a pasta that was absolutely amazing but was too stuffed to try any of the deserts! Highly recommend going if you're up for yummy italian food!"

"We very much enjoyed the half chicken with fries and slaw. It was plenty of food for the 2 of us so also quite economical. Nice staff, too, and good wine (well, this being NZ and all). We had just arrived in Auckland and rushed to find a good dinner. We made the right decision!"

"Ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and honestly the fries were so good, they were to die for! The burger was also well cooked and the aioli flavours hit the right spot. I loved the way the burger was presented and the ambience was very nice. Price was very reasonable especially in the CBD. $14)"
