"Had supper here with three vegetarian friends. The menu was inventive and local products. It is a small restaurant so you must reserve. The portions are very very big so go with a hearty appetite or maybe share the main courses. It was off the beaten track and good."

"Actually, I never ate here. Either your menu (and servers are wrong, or everything on the menu (to contain ice!) MSG has in it. Each item. I don't even understand how this is possible, but I'm too allergic to try it out. The service is mediocre. Friendly, but sloooooow. You have Fässla beer on tap, a reason I like the place. Child-friendly with a small playroom in the cellar. It could be so much more than it is. Eating looks decent."

"Very good food, super nice ladies and great to sit outside! Strangely, I never noticed the restaurant before, but we are going to go there more often. Pane e Vino is one of the really good and real Italians in Bamberg. I have been there several times and have tried various appetizers, mains and desserts and everything was really delicious. Desserts are a dream, the drinks (for example Lillet) are prepared with fresh fruits, which is also not everywhere. All in all easy to recommend!"

"We were in the miralis because we have the slemmer block. otherwise we would not have come to the restaurant. it is located on the Erba island and has a beautiful ambiente. that eating was really much better than the standard Greek. you get a small appetizer instead of the ouzos and a small tasty bite. I personally find something different and a great and tasteful alternative. the main dish was lovingly dressed, not huge but very tasty. you notice that this is being placed on quality instead of quantity. we will definitely come back."

"We would have liked to have lunch in a characteristic place but too many lines, to eat I don't think so. So we entered in this restaurant, where only the name and the menu are Italian, for the rest the waiter is the classic German...that you expect in the brewery, moreover not very nice, not in a pseudo Italian restaurant. Cannelloni not bad as well as penne all'arrabbiata. There is better, sure, but our time was counted, the trains do not wait for the lines for the restaurants!"
