"As someone who's been to Bella' Gio several times and never had a bad experience, I was surprised to see only a 3-star rating. My most recent visit was this past weekend, and as always, everything was great! I'll first mention the layout of the restaurant... While they have plenty of seating inside, I always opt to sit outside on the back patio. They actually have a covered upper-patio area that's under a cabana, and then a lower-patio area that has tables umbrellas. There's also a fire pit on the lower-patio. It's really a beautiful place to sit and relax! I've always found the food to be very good. Not the best Italian food I've ever had, but good. The portion sizes are fairly large too. This past time I ordered the Chicken Francese, which came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables on the side. It was delicious! I found the waiter to be pleasant and the service to be pretty quick. Judging from other reviews it seems that the service has been an issue in the past, but perhaps they've hired more staff members and it has improved. Overall a great Italian spot in Cheshire!"
