"First, this village is worth a visit for a beautifully preserved Saxon church, then visit the Saxon gastronomics in an old pub, but in a modern bright, airy and friendly pub, the greeting from the staff and service is first class., my vater is not very mobile and they could not be more helpful, eating was enormous cube, fish and chips cooked, fresh"

"4 of us went for meal here and the only complaint was there was too much, if you can call it a complaint. Not a big choice but they adapted our meals for the fussy eater and all enjoyed. Real chips too"

"Beautiful restaurant. friendly staff. good prices especially with the daily offer. beautiful setting and very clean. they also brought a free garlic bread for our table when we first arrived, which was a nice note. the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the music leaves it down. Pop music that spoils the atmosphere would have been for a calmer more chilled music or better some Italian music."

"A relaxed, friendly restaurant with good quality food, reasonable prices and attentive service. Following a recent lunch visit, we recommend the following dishes: Chicken nachos (the nachos are more like crackers, but fine . Complemented very well by the accompanying sweet jalapeño jam, and cooling guacamole. Goat's cheese and Bruschetta. A substantial starter. Cumberland sausage and mash. (Dreamily buttery, super-smooth mash. The onion gravy was nice, but we'd have liked a little more. Three bean Chilli. Pleasantly spiced and very filling. Sticky Toffee Pudding and Custard. (Drenched in toffee sauce, which was very thin and runny but tasty . The 4 stars would have been 5, but for the custard, which, like the toffee sauce, was very thin indeed, so the sponge was awash in runny sweet liquid. Not bad, but the nicely made pudding deserved a much thicker, rich custard. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit, and will certainly return. Thank you to the talented chef, and hard-working waiting staff."

"I took my omnivore mum for afternoon most recently in south causey inn. Although it was great that there was a vegan option, the quality of it was really disappointing, especially considering it costs £20. the products contained were less than the others, but I knew this when we booked, I guess it could take some more up and eat time for the vegan option. the broken mushrooms with mayo were delicious. the sandwiches (bbq jackfruit, hummus and gurke, hearty) were ok, the hummus was not very nice. pear and tweebelsalat was good. the strawberries should be dipped in chocolate, but were not and the lemon cake was not present. the baked were (fruit and banana cake) were terrible! they had a really dusty texture. I would like to think that if the kitchen staff had tried not to send them out. However, it is also possible that they have had such a low opinion of vegan food that they believed it was acceptable. unless they improve the quality of their afternoon, I would recommend vegans avoid it, especially in consideration of the price. give her use to a place that gives more time, care and interest in her vegan options/food."

"Friendly, efficient, hard working staff. Authentic Italian food or at least as close as you can get outside of Italy. Plenty of choice, the food is well presented and the portions are massive (I took half of the very good canzone I had home with me). Comfortable seating tables. The coffee there is very good also."
