"The smell of eating will beat them before they see the building. absolutely the best pizza I've ever eaten, and the most friendly staff. I've never been to italics, so I don't know how it compares, but if there's something close, I'll buy a flight ticket soon. the greatest regret is not a place for dessert. get the Risotto balls!"

"Came here the night before Edinburgh marathon after panicking that we hadn’t booked anywhere. Can’t believe they weren’t fully booked it’s a lovely small traditional feeling restaurant, really friendly and the food was delicious. Only a couple of options for me as a venue but I had the waitress’s recommendation and it was perfect."

"I have been going to la piazza for years and I can honestly say that this is the best italian in edinburgh. You will not find service quite like it, and they will continuously bend over backwards to please you. The menu is varied, including all traditonal Italian dishes, extremely good value for money and they will make an effort to give you advice if you need it. I can recommend the tortelloni con tartfuo, the spaghetti vongole, and the extensive wine selection. A hidden gem in the westend."

"We arrived shortly before 17 clock on a weekday and there were many tables available so we have given a great space next to the window with a beautiful view! eating was super delicious and after a day to explore edinburgh. when the evening went to the service was a little slow though they were friendly! it was a nice dinner! and I would recommend!"

"Despite a booking for 7.30, we were told that we cannot order for another 15 minutes. we ordered to wait drinks, but even a past. main course eat ok when we finally get it. when ordering gloomy (cookie teig dessert) we were told that many can check out.....the waiting queue and it was in order when it arrived, we believe that it was not completely cooked, but since it was clear that the employees turned away and ready to delete the restaurant (approximately 9,20) we paid the bill and left. pleasant staff, but disappointing food/"

"Lots of fun options. Pizza was a little smaller than I thought it would have been for the price, but given the vegan options available it was within reason. After some confusion with the opening hours of a local pizza chain, I found this place via google and gave it a shot. Staff was very nice."
