"Loved it. After being told how great this cafe was we thought we would try it out for breakfast we were not disappointed! Great setting away from the road, loads of space and awesome, fresh food. We sat out on the balcony in the Winter sun coffee was served quickly and being Campos was a quality coffee. We had mushrooms on toast and hot cakes and they were such generous sizes. I would say best mushrooms on toast I have had! We will definitely be back."

"I recently visited this cafe and had a mixed experience with the food and beverages. While the cafe had its highlights, there were certain aspects that left me underwhelmed. Let 's start with the beverages. The orange juice, priced at $8, seemed overpriced considering it was similar to what you can find in a supermarket for a fraction of the cost. Additionally, the taste was not exceptional and had a somewhat artificial flavor. The mango smoothie was meh, nothing extraordinary. The latte lacked that special touch to make it stand out. On the other hand, the mocha was described too strong, but that 's purely a matter of personal preference. Moving on to the food, The Big Vegetarian Breakfast left much to be desired. The tomatoes were sad, and the mushrooms were bland, resulting in an overall underwhelming experience. Despite some dishes being visually appealing, this particular dish didn 't offer much in terms of taste. It was also mentioned that the portion size was not sufficient for a big breakfast. The haloumi, beetroot relish, sautéed spinach, and warm focaccia combination was decent. However, the Eggs Benedict was average and messy to eat, although this could be expected from a dish like Eggs Benedict. There’s not much to say about the chips, they tasted great but the serving size was a bit small. "I really like their vegan laksa!! The fake meat and the broth were fantastic! The chocolate pancakes were tasty and decadent. The chai latte, red velvet latte were so nice too! Will be coming back to try other dishes !"

"Great food, nice ambiance and lovely service. My mum and I shared the chilli crab linguine and the handmade provencale gnocchi, both were amazing. So much flavour, I was in heaven!! Service from Isha was friendly and warm, she made the experience very enjoyable. Will definitely be back to try more things."

"Goormd atmosphere, busy Friday night. Around 45-60min wait for food but all in all not bad. Crunchy thin sliced carrots served warmish Beans crunch, served el denta Mushroom Gravy warm, extra as asked. "Emily recently catered for a birthday lunch event. She provided a delicious mouth watering array of Vietnamese rice paper rolls, vegan duck pancakes, fried chicken, salad, chicken rolls!!! All my guests were blown away with the quality and freshness of the food. Emily was incredibly generous of her time and communicated throughout the whole process. I highly recommend a visit to the penny royal and can’t wait to back there again for the vegan duck pancakes. Thank you Emily"
