"Stopped by because the restaurant up the block I planned to dine at was to crowded. they had a appetizer/ entree deal for 17.50 which was a good deal. I had calamari and fish risotto. The calamari wasn’t breaded as much as it should have been but it was fine. The fish risotto was pretty bad. It should be called Seafood Risotto, sounds much better and more accurate, and you should list the fish. It had shrimp and salmon then a mystery brown colored meat that was probably tilapia, all without a doubt frozen, low quality ingredients. The manager was really nice but the bartender seemed like he just walked in off the street, just a plain black gross t shirt. When I ordered he starred at the menu for three minutes acting like he had no idea what I ordered. As a bartender at a nice restaurant, i understand the industry and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The rating would be lower if I wasn’t in the industry. Very nice place that could do well with more training and a better chef."

"My disabled wife and I stopped off here for a coffee, had some issues getting the wheelchair in. Having negotiated the furniture and asked for some coffee, were promptly told we couldn't have it unless we had food. The place was empty, other than one other couple. Clearly not interested in customer service, helping the disabled or in the business. Wont be going here again."

"Finally we were able to enjoy the afternoon tea we received as a gift the Christmas before last. I have found that places I loved before COVID have unfortunately been adversely affected with patchy service from new untrained staff or a drop in standards in a misguided attempt to save money. My expectations were not therefore particularly high especially having read some recent reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Pamela provided excellent friendly service and made this a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. We received extra sandwiches upon request. My husband doesn’t drink tea and Pamela happily swapped his drink to Coke and both my tea and his soft drink were replenished. The scones were brought out separately after our sandwiches and served warm. They were the smaller scones perfect for afternoon tea when you have a plate of cakes to follow. Both sandwiches and scones were lovely and fresh. Our cakes were very tasty, particularly the passion fruit slice that was bursting with flavour and our selection included a very rich and satisfying chocolate mousse. This was not the afternoon tea experience that the top hotels supply with constant food and we didn’t leave with boxes of left over cakes but then Claridge’s champagne tea (king of afternoon teas) is £90 per head plus service not £45 (and since our gift voucher was extended from eighteen months ago it was probably cheaper than that). We were however very full when we left. The tea was served in a pleasant bright room and the chairs were very comfortable for a leisurely meal. Finally, I had the Indian breakfast tea and it was delicious. I drunk two pots. All in all we had a very pleasant afternoon and enjoyed our belated Christmas present. Thank you Pamela for looking after as so well."

"I was almost all screens, theater in the city, and the picture house in notting hill is one of the most beautiful movie theatres in london. its interior design is great and the personal is amazing always friendly. I wish picture house could have more discounts or campaigns recommended. drink good wine and see good films there. Thank you."

"We have dined here many times in recent years. The pizza was good, and the seafood linguine was ok but not as good as previous. The tiramisu used to be fantastic. It’s now very “average”, nothing special, lacks taste/any alcohol and it’s £10+ for a small ish portion. So not good. Service was ok but the one waitress, an order lady, lacks any rapport (to put it mildly! and rushed us. Would we return? Possibly not."
