"If you like a black, smoked marshmallow coal this pizza is for you. It sucked every way. My Wife is now scraping the ash from the bottom of her take-home.Just don't go or bother- get a piece from the Wiegeles next door.Unless you like ash.Parking: Parking is great but I have not been able to post about the bad food. The website won't let me post my review until I answer many questions. I guess this is how they avoid bad reviews."

"We came here for the first time right after our private wedding ceremony as a celebration, just the two of us. My husband comes from Italian family background so we were excited and hopeful to try it. We were blown away by everything. The service and the warm wishes for our new marriage, the food, the atmosphere, everything. We didn’t want it to end! The bruschetta was amazing, along with the potatoes and Brussel sprouts. Our pastas as well were to die for and everything complemented each other so very well. My husband said his wine was also fantastic. We found our new date night spot after jumping around other places. Thank you for a fantastic evening to remember with our wedding night!"

"As most travelers know, hotel restaurants can be hit or miss; and in a modest town the size of Knoxville, I was bit skeptical after reading the overwhelming number of 5 Star reviews for such a place. But…… The Drawing Room is located on the 2nd floor of The Tennessean; a newer upscale hotel in downtown Knoxville. The restaurant itself is actually more like a dining room, with just a few tables and a bar. The decor leans classy elegant, with some modern touches. They serve both breakfast and dinner; we were there for breakfast. Ordered eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns, and a biscuit. My grandson opted for pancakes, which btw, were among the best I’ve ever tried. The eggs and bacon I ordered were delicious, and cooked perfectly. The hash browns were good, but needed another couple of mins on the griddle to be perfect. The biscuit wasn’t a Southern biscuit by any means; I’d say it resembled a croissant in texture; it was actually pretty good, but definitely not a biscuit. Orange juice was served in a cold mug(nice touch). Oh. and the chocolate milk was cold and tasty as well. Overall the food gets a solid 4. But those pancakes would rate 5 themselves all day long. Service was excellent! Our young lady, whose name I never got, was on her game. Glasses were kept full, and everything brought out in a timely manner: And all done while wearing a smile. Service honestly couldn’t have been better. Overall, I’d normally give this breakfast a 4; but due to the beautiful setting, excellent service, the chilled drinks, and those incredible pancakes, I’m giving The Drawing Room a 5! One needs to try this place out for themselves. PS, I heard they have an incredible burger too….Enjoy"
