"A really shameful service. a waiter who doesn't say hello, who gives us the forks by placing his fingers where you eat (and not on the handle), who gives us the glasses (again wet) by putting his fingers where you put his mouth, which smokes on the terrace while he is in service. I know we have the right to smoke, but when there's only the people who smoke in it, I'm in trouble. They could stay away anyway so they wouldn't bother others. The service was very long and the server was not friendly at all. The bruschetta was good, but I didn't like niçois stuffed. You'll understand, I'm not recommending very strongly!"

"We had a very delicious meal at Le Stanley. Between the three of us, we had a ravioli appetizer, salade niçoise, spaghetti bolognese, salmon and sea bream. The piece de resistance was the tarte au citrons. ???? Best ever!"

"I visited this place with my family. our waiter had one of her worst days and managed to drop the plate so that my wife's dinner was ruined and that she had her red glass of wine on her dress. these things happen and usually do not pose a problem, but you expect to be compensated.At the end, we were asked to pay the invoice in its entirety and forget to get compensation for the dress and experience of the spoiled dinner. the director became hostile - "you eat, you pay!" and at the end, we had no other choice but to pay. the server did its best but was cancelled by the director."

"Staying in Nice, I decided to try out Menton. Was it worth it!!?? You bet!! Wandered into this lovely brasserie at the end of the pedestrian only strip. As it 's so close to Italy the menu was this hybrid French/Italian creation. Seeing one of the bruschetta on the menu delivered to the next table I decided that was the way to go. The rosé accompanying the meal was lovely and all well priced. The waitress, Andrea, a Menton born-and-bred girl was delightful. The way she changed from French to English to Italian mid sentence was amazing. When I commented she said we just have to . Great service and I hope the managers/owners realise what a gem they have in her. The bruschetta was amazing, sort of like a overly glamorous mince-on-toast, a favourite of mine since boyhood. The location is great; a delightful breeze comes up from the Mediterranean. What a lovely part of a truly lovely day in every possible way."
