"My kids wanted pizza and pasta, so I started looking at nearby restaurants in Palm Springs. We have a lot of Italian friends and know what authentic Italian food tastes like. This is what we were seeking. I read various Yelp reviews for a number of places, and L’Olivo had consistently positive reviews. It was handy I could make a reservation using Open Table. When we arrived, we were not disappointed. The restaurant is airy, and the tables are not too close together. The staff is mostly Italian. My daughter devoured the bread and got more! The house sparkling wine was reasonably priced and tasty. My girls ordered their pizza and pasta (gnocchi in pesto), and we adults had the pollo calabrese and lobster ravioli with minestrone and Caesar salad to start. Every bite was delicious. The service was outstanding—attentive without hovering. We ordered the tiramisù for dessert. It was scrumptious. When we received the check, we also got a small plate with a biscotti for each of us. It was by far the best biscotti I’ve ever had: flavourful and not too dry/hard. I highly recommend L’Olivo."

"The meal on n ew years eve was a demolition. slimmed down menu to 2.5 times the normal cost $85.) my ordinary scampi fattyucine had exactly 4 med big garnel for the regular size large suppen bowl of captiv. I usually dinee there all few months with many good meals there. this meal should be characterized by greed!"

"Absolutely magical, sat for the first time on the rooftop because I have some mobility issues I was concerned about the stairs however they let me know that there was an elevator. The food was very good if you like pasta it was amazing."

"Tasty Italian and Budget Friendly. We love Italian food and we were not disappointed. My starter caesar salad and main course lasagne were Tutto Bene. I especially liked the lasagne that was more meat than pasta. The service was also great and the setting was quiet and conducive for table conversation. Helpful Hints: I heard there is a $20 corkage fee. Although I think that’s a bit high, $15 would be better, bringing your own bottle of wine is an option. L’Olivo is also on United (Airlines) Dining So, if you are signed up for United Dining, you can get airline points, a nice bonus."
