"On our 2nd day in Pondy we were looking out for a place which serves French Cuisine and hence landed up in this place for lunch. It's a pretty large spacious place with the typical French colonial looks. The staff was courteous too. Due to late breakfast, we didn't have a great appetite that afternoon. We ordered:Puduvai Fried PrawnsChicken Stroganoff Mexican Pasta SaladAlthough all the items tasted really good, the chicken was a bit hard, however the staff got it replaced. The best part though was the ambience of the place!"

"Being a Christmas eve , most of the restaurants were having buffet with live music or live band. But we always prefer A LA carte than buffet because, however we may eat less but whatever we eat , it should be hot , fresh with good presentation and served nicely on my table . Because this is what we pay for in a restaurant. Quality of food is more important for me than quantity of food. After trying so many restaurants luckily we got a table in Rendezvous . I have been there earlier also and I liked their food , ambience and service so we were happy to get a table there with live music. As we were very hungry , we ordered for bruschetta and cream ofmushroom soup . Bruschetta was very nice but mushroom soup was equally horrible. I have never tasted this kind of mushroom soup . Next we ordered for grilled fish in butter n garlic sauce. It was simply DELICIOUS . Fish was perfectly cooked delicate and melt in mouth ,dipped in simple yet very tasty butter sauce. Ratatouille used to be my favorite dish but this time I felt like there were more chunks of aubergines than usual . It was rainy , chilly and pleasantly breezy evening filled with very mellow songs sung by singer Aishwarya accompanied by good food and great service on such a busy day. Everything was so nice and sweet that we too winded up our dinner on a sweet note with creme caramel. Enjoyed everything thoroughly"

"Terrible behaviour of the manager when confronted about the false charges on our bill. They over charged us by over 40% and refused to take responsibility for their actions. The food was terrible as well. They ruined a perfectly good experience."

"The pork steak Tuscany style was brilliant !! Pork was tender and a good piece of meat was served. My friends tried out the pasta dishes and it was true authentic Italian. Service is slow and ambience is just OK, but worth every penny in terms of taste."

"This was a food joint that came first on zomato when i searched and thought how bad could a place be whose name itself emphasizes on a dish. <br>
And my question was answered. <br>
The quantity was worth the money for sure and the ambience was nice but the main part.. The food SUCKED. And so much so that it couldnt be made tastier even with huge amounts of salt oregano or chilli flakes..<br>"
