"THE RESTAURANT The restaurant is pretty hidden and if you don't accidentally discover the sign, you would go past it smoothly. This is also because the house number in the Navi has not been found because the restaurant is hidden on a campsite. Only if you drive to the huge parking lot can you see the locality. From the outside, in my eyes, it's like a normal beach area on Sylt, but somehow inconspicuous. A staircase with about 8 steps leads to the restaurant. And this sight surprises. Once you arrive, there is something to see. The ceiling is full of stars, there are old bottles as decoration, beach baskets at the tables and even sand on the floor. The view from the windows is not a highlight, because you don't see trees or beach, but the campsite, but that doesn't matter. A reservation was not necessary. Since at this time some tables had reservations, I can put it in the heart of the high season. The audience was mixed and consists of a colorful camping crowd. At noon there were smaller groups of 2-4 persons between 30-50. Nevertheless, I would like to point out at this point that the restaurant is operated as extremely child-friendly and that is not groundless. Prices are average for Sylt. We have for a steak, a daily dish, two appetizers, a pizza, as well as four drinks approx. 80€ paid. The service is friendly, friendly and sympathetic. And very child-friendly. The service is attentive, furnished to folds, totally beautiful and there is a loose impression. This is not only the clothes that are so complete from the knee-white that you feel like being in a real beach bar. Above all, it's the sayings. And even the thicker one I always found so good during my school time fits in here. The toilets are clean and well maintained. I usually inform myself about restaurants, but this time it was quite spontaneous. I was looking for children's restaurants Sylt at Google and that was shown to me. More than 100 reviews spoke for the locals. After we picked up a table spontaneously, we got a menu and were asked for our drinks. The card itself is clearly designed. There is a day ticket for lunch and a main ticket. After seeing the inlaid card, I thought of a small snack, but the main card impresses with more demanding dishes. My husband chose the potato soup with sausages, as well as a Wienerschnitzel with Rahm-Champignons. The children shared a classic pizza salami. And I chose Bruschetta and a steak. After about 5 minutes waiting time, the drinks were taken to the table. Our specialty was served in red wine glasses and enchanted me with a thick exclamation mark. Honestly, this feels much more noble than a classic Cola glass. For the little ones there were beautiful glasses with an apple choir, where the straw always freaked out. There was no greeting from the kitchen, but that was not necessary, because about 10 minutes later a large pan with my broschetta was worn on the table and shortly afterwards a large portion of potato soup. Optically very appealing, but both so lush that I was afraid to be fed after the appetizer. Tastefully but perfect and only the Bruschetta did it to me completely. I have already eaten some and here awaits you a crispy, slightly thick baguette, coated with a fruity tomato sauce, fresh thin garlic slices, onions and quartered tomatoes. The mixture of warm and cold with the fresh ingredients. A real palate mouse. The main court was divided. In other words, after some time we were asked if the pizza of the children should be made first. This has the advantage that we could take care of the children at the beginning without our own food getting cold. Also very lonely and I must confess that I have never experienced it. The pizza is gigantic and incredibly delicious. Although the sauce was very fruity, my husband also found it good. My big son smiles and rubs his belly on the phone. Also the next day and on the return he talked about the pizza. Mama, the pizza in the restaurant that was sooo (again lick it over the lips, smash and rub the belly). Let's go. I think that speaks for itself. After some time we were asked if our food should be prepared. When they were brought to us, they were not as opulent as the appetizer and pizza suspected. A sufficient part, hot and lovingly dressed. The dishes were hot and much more important, the steak was perfectly fried and the carving, although it was thin, not dry. In general, it can be said that the quality of the individual products was high. But the cold kitchen should be a little more trouble at the salad. My only gurke was daumendick and even showed the stunk. Absolut No Go, just like the fact that three leaves were brown in salad. At least the salad leaves come in the upscale kitchen and are probably only in my eye, as I worked for years in the cold kitchen. After a dessert rain we were no longer asked. But that wasn't bad either, because we honestly couldn't bite."

"Ich gehe sowohl geschäftlich wie auch privat viel essen und möchte behaupten einen guten Geschmack zu besitzen. Im Sommerurlaub auf Sylt waren wir fast täglich essen. Bei diesem Restaurant welches "Italienische" Gerichte anbietet sind wir total enttäuscht worden. Angezogen durch die wirklich schöne Optik des Ladens mit schöner Deko u.s.w. haben wir spontan einen Sitzplatz für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder bekommen. Wir werden freundlich empfangen und bekommen einen schönen Tisch. Nach Erhalt der Speisekarten vergehen gute 20 Minuten bis einer der drei Kellner sich zu unserem Tisch bemüht. Und dabei war weder etwas los in dem Laden noch hatten die Kellner viel um die Ohren. Naja, beschäftigt waren die schon aber eher mit sich selbst. Es gab viel zu erzählen hinter der Theke. Nach unfreundlicher Aufnahmen der Getränke und des Essens, warteten wir weitere 20 Minuten auf das Essen. Was ja vollkommen OK gewesen wäre. Da standen nun unsere Vorspeisen vor uns und "schauten uns an". Ohne Getränke, die standen immer noch wohl behütet hinter der Theke. Der Weißwein war bereits vor geschätzten 18. Minuten ausgeschenkt worden, aber scheinbar wurde vergessen was man damit machen sollte. Dann wurde es hektisch und die Getränke schwebten an den Tisch. Die Flasche Wasser habe ich dann geöffnet und uns eingeschenkt. Ich gehe davon aus, das die polnischen männlichen Bedienungen vieles können, aber eben nur nicht Kellnern. Ich hatte als Vorspeise "Vitello Tonato für 14,50 Euro" und meine Frau "Tomatensuppe für ???" Das "Vitello Tonato" war das schlechteste meiner Lebens. Ich hatte echt kurz das Gefühl ich müsste es zurückgehen lassen. Habe dann auf Rücksicht der Kinder quasi alles geschluckt. Warum war es "außergalaktisch" ganz einfach weil die Soße absolut Geschmacklos war und nichts aber auch gar nichts nach Tunfisch geschmeckt hat. Die Garnitur war zwar korrekt mit Sardellen und Kapern geschmückt aber eben auch mit Obst wie Wassermelone, Heidelbeeren u.s.w. die haben auf einem Vitello nix verloren. Ein Blick in ein italienisches Kochbuch hätte für Aufklärung gesorgt. Die Tomatensuppe meiner Frau war gut, etwas mehr Salz hätte Ihr geholfen noch besser zu werden. Aber das mag ja auch Geschmacksache sein. Jedenfalls erheblich besser als das Vitello. Als Hauptgang gab es bei uns Pizza. Der Teig war gut, mit etwas mehr Salz wäre er noch besser gewesen. Scheinbar sogar auf einem Steinboden gebacken. Der Teig hatte schöne Blasen geworfen. Der Belag hätte ebenfalls mit Salz bestimmt geschmeckt. Die Nudel meiner Töchter waren reichlich mit undefinierbaren Kräutern geschmückt inkl. Stiele und reichlich Crema die Balsamico. Hat da jemand vielleicht ein Trendende verpennt ? Ich denke es reicht an Info´s für die nächsten Gäste. Übrigens für 105 Euro für uns alle vier, fahren wir beim nächsten mal lieber zu einem "richtigen" Italiener in Rantum, Westerland oder Kampen. Ach so noch was, Seife auf der Herrentoilette wäre super gewesen. Danke"

"Go to eat here for many years and have eaten NIE badly. On the contrary, no better Italian and all appetizers, main dishes and desserts were always top-class and every evening was always a pleasure.
