"While the service was very good and the staff quite attentive, we were disappointed in the quality of our meal. The hot and sour soup was excellent, but the house pad Thai was mediocre. The noodles were gummy and either over cooked or had been sitting for a while. The ribs were good and the serving size was generous, they were more BBQ than Chinese 5 spice. We will try another Casino del Sol restaurant next time."

"We eat there about once a month. Staff, service and atmosphere are excellent. Especially for Oro Valley. Food is great. People who like seafood will love the scallops. Let them be seasoned with some tabasco and hot red paste. We love wine selection. They are also close to our house. If you live a way from here, you know the ride. Ask her to make her Banana's Foster for the desert."

"Love this restaurant!! They have now added cioppino (seafood stew) to the menu! I am in love! The restaurant is also aligned with many incentive programs: airline miles, Tucson Originals, Open Table. They have a fabulous salad bar and a lunch pasta bar. If you eat lunch there often, they have a punch card to get a free meal. It is well worth visiting.....and visiting often. I celebrated my 69th birthday there with friends."

"Came to visit the Alloro DOC only to be greeted by rude servers overpriced food. For the price you pay at this “restaurant” your better off going to a real restaurant like North Italia for better service better quality food. Seems as if this restaurant is being ran by cheap management. Not only can you tell from the action of the employees, but even the portion of food you get compared to the amount you pay is ridiculous. Imagine going to a one star restaurant but paying a five star price. That’s this restaurant in a nutshell. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this so called restaurant to any friends of family. The Alloro DOC is more like a cafe at best."

"It’s an ok place. chill environment. it’s casual. it’s ok for a date. the food is decent. they use fresh ingredients it’s mostly homemade. service is average at best. it’s not grace. prices are a little high for what you get. if you’re looking for upscale, this definitely isn’t it. it’s a step above olive garden. maybe it’s better when it’s not busy. definitely don’t go when it’s busy."
