"We chose this restaurant due to the proximity to the hotel we were staying at being walkable. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, delicious food, and lots of drink options. You can get a variety of mimosas for brunch, a French press of coffee, etc. We are brunch and the location is on the river with a dock below. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Morgantown. They do accept reservation, not necessary but recommended."

"My wife and I drove an hour to eat here, excited after reviewing the website and menu. Our service started off pretty well, but once we got our food, we were long forgotten…literally. Our original waitress got pulled in to serve a large party, and we never saw her again. A backup waitress brought our meals, and didn’t return until all food and drinks had been gone for around 15 minutes. She acknowledged at that point that we had been forgotten. But instead of working to restore our experience…she forgot us again! 10 minutes later we saw her drying glasses behind the bar. It wasn’t until she looked over and noticed me staring at her that she brought our bill. She then admitted she forgot us again. Her reason was that “we are dying in here.” For service, I’d give 1.0-1.5 out of 5. Pretty weak for the prices you pay. No sign of a manager at any point. Our food was very good. The Brussels sprouts were the highlight of the meal. Our steaks tasted good, but neither was prepared the way they were ordered; I believe they got them backwards. Minor complaint, though, because both were still an acceptable doneness. I got a smoked Manhattan, which tasted great, and the presentation was impressive. Pretty tiny for $16, though. I wanted a second one, but never got a chance to order another. 4.0-4.5 out of 5 for the food. After a tip, we spent $140 for two people just to be forgotten (I always leave a tip…if the place is understaffed, that’s not the servers’ decision). The service will prevent me from returning, which is sad, because I did enjoy the food. But I can spend 60% less at Texas Roadhouse, still get a decent steak, and far better service. It’s just not right to expect five-star prices while providing fast-food level service. ??"

"The proclaimed owner was inconsiderate as we entered the restaurant, disregarded what his employees promised customers, and was suspect of poor food prep. The staff was great, but the people and the food really weren’t. I wouldn’t choose to go back, ever."
