"A friend and I used the ski promo and got half-priced wings and pommes. I have the wrong order (no biggie) but they found out that I didn't get the right one and called the next day. kyla was so great and super...kind that I always like to go to the Canadian brewhouse, but know that they dinge take so seriously when it comes to their customers' happiness is really amazing! "The dining area for one was very uncomfortable and quite cold. Service was very slow as it took minutes for my water to arrive. The restaurant vibe was very energetic (which I understand) but I wish they took better care of me as a customer. Food was however, always a delight. Thank you!"

"This was an interesting experience that isn't going to affect us coming back, but I'll save the oddities for the end.We went for Sunday brunch and had no issue finding a seat. On a nice day you can have a seat out on their patio. The place is decorated like a diner as you would expect, and it is nicely done.The food and prices were excellent. We will be going back based on the prices alone.Now I'll go to the negatives, in no particular order.They stop serving breakfast at 11 or 12, not to big of a deal since they have one all day breakfast option on the menu.They have a sign advertising the many milkshake flavors (25 or 27) they have, but when our daughter ordered they came back saying they only had chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. It was still a great looking milkshake, and I'm sure a temporary shortage.We had already ordered, but we heard the waitresses telling other patrons they had run out of eggs and one or two other standard items.Our first waitress came told us she had to go help in the kitchen, so we had another waitress take over. There wasn't a lot of people eating, but the people behind us had to ask why their food was taking so long, and the guy beside us walked out after not having his order taken for over 20 minutes. The waitresses also didn't get that at a diner people want coffee refills. We would have to flag someone for a refill. At one point the table in front of us asked for coffee, so the waitress came to their table then turned around and went back to the counter ignoring the 3 other tables of coffee drinkers. I walked over and poured myself a refill.I know a lot of what I said seems negative, but don't let these service quirks stop you from enjoying Kane's. I still would recommend it, and we definitely will be back."

"We decided to try the take out menu and were actually pleasantly surprised. I thought the nachos were awesome and a bit different by using hot banana peppers instead of jalapeños and it was seriously awesome. My new favourite way to eat nachos! The pizza was great made with a fantastic dough and good quality toppings. We also tried the cheesecake which was ok but I was annoyed that they put the cheesecake on top of the hot pizza in the to-go bag which completely melted the whip cream and made the cake on the warmer side. My fault for choice in a take out item but it also could have been bagged separately, no? Anyways we will definitely be trying this place again and will actually try visiting instead of just doing take out."
