"My daughter and I went to Ballou's yesterday to celebrate National Wine Day, since Ballou's is one of our favorite go-to places. We love the cheese and crabmeat fondue, the meat and cheese boards that can be created to one's liking, and the wine flights, of course! The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the staff is welcoming and attentive. Ballou's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!"

"Had dinner last night in the dining room; 2 pasta dinners with 1 meatball, 2 basic garden salads, 2 sodas...$60! Talk about sticker shock! This is a take out restaurant with a few tables where you order at the counter. The food was mediocre at best! We could've eaten at one of the nice Italian restaurants in town for the same price. "Food is amazing...some of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted...seafood is amazing...pizza is amazing...Ralph mixes some of the best drinks I’ve ever had...prices are fare and are actually too low for the quality. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is truly a hidden gem. The manager Ralph tops off the experience by making you feel like family."

"Not sure why some people call this place a dive. I think they use the term too loosely because they haven't been to an actual dive. You usually don't see dive bars in areas where the houses across the street sell for over 700k. I found the CountryTavern to be charming with a clean, well kept interior that is comfortable and relaxing and their menu offers up some reallygood down to earth and delicious comfort food. I just had my 2nd meal there so I wanted to give them my thanks. Their burgersare among the best I've had... period. I really like their hot wings as well and french fries are great. They had a reallygood mix of clientele both nights we were there. It was a festive party atmosphere with good food and good service. Not a badplace to be on a Saturday night."

"Super happy with this place. Come here a few times before I decide to check and every time the coffee is on the point... Cohen's bagels are always a victory- today I had the buffalo chicken pack and it was crazy good. Jen behind the bar slays it- she is super sweet and her positive energy is infectious. "We loved to Ct 3 years ago and have been drooling over TGC Instagram posts for that long we finally made it and it did not disappoint. Ordering online right now kind of sucks because we got stuck in traffic and even with the time buffet we gave ourselves we still missed our food at its peak. With fried food especially pricier meals it is better hot but oh well. We got 2 turkey clubs for our 8&10 year olds and really they could have shared one. The portions were huge and came with a big side of potato chips. We got garlic knots, calamari, onion rings, buffalo chicken sandwich and a peach and prosciutto apizza. Literally everything was just as delicious as I had imagined it would be "
