"Had dinner last night in the dining room; 2 pasta dinners with 1 meatball, 2 basic garden salads, 2 sodas...$60! Talk about sticker shock! This is a take out restaurant with a few tables where you order at the counter. The food was mediocre at best! We could've eaten at one of the nice Italian restaurants in town for the same price. "Quality has gone down over the last month not sure why , ordered a few times and the Buffalo wings are so dry and sauceless , they used to be the best. "Not sure why some people call this place a dive. I think they use the term too loosely because they haven't been to an actual dive. You usually don't see dive bars in areas where the houses across the street sell for over 700k. I found the CountryTavern to be charming with a clean, well kept interior that is comfortable and relaxing and their menu offers up some reallygood down to earth and delicious comfort food. I just had my 2nd meal there so I wanted to give them my thanks. Their burgersare among the best I've had... period. I really like their hot wings as well and french fries are great. They had a reallygood mix of clientele both nights we were there. It was a festive party atmosphere with good food and good service. Not a badplace to be on a Saturday night."

"We loved to Ct 3 years ago and have been drooling over TGC Instagram posts for that long we finally made it and it did not disappoint. Ordering online right now kind of sucks because we got stuck in traffic and even with the time buffet we gave ourselves we still missed our food at its peak. With fried food especially pricier meals it is better hot but oh well. We got 2 turkey clubs for our 8&10 year olds and really they could have shared one. The portions were huge and came with a big side of potato chips. We got garlic knots, calamari, onion rings, buffalo chicken sandwich and a peach and prosciutto apizza. Literally everything was just as delicious as I had imagined it would be "

"I saw their pizza truck at Jacob's Beach and the food looked phenomenal, but unfortunately they were packing up. But they gave me their location address and I picked up some pizza on my way home. It was such a tasty blend of cheeses, definitely will keep them in mind next time I'm in the area."

"Solid brew pub, with fun cocktails and a a relaxed atmosphere. The fries were especially good, and the pulled pork was tasty. Dropped one star because the beer list was pretty shallow, and the bottle list in particular had nothing of note at all."
