"It was Valentines, so I expected a nice dinner. It took a long time before our appetizer and meal appeared. For such a busy night it seemed almost as if they were under servants or overwhelmed. As beautiful as our server was, we could hardly get a stop from her to ask for things. We had to ask other employees. I ordered a well-made steak and it was rare. I had to send it back, I couldn't even cut it because it was so rare. They brought me a new steak, but they didn't offer a discount on the meal. I wasn't overly impressed, but didn't let it pamper with my wife."

"Went here for a friend's birthday. None of us drank as we werent all of age, but what I can say is that the food here is awesome. I had a goat cheese salad wrap, i forgot what was in it, but all I remember was that it wad tasty. It came with fries, and that was pretty good too. Took a few bites from my friend's chicken pot pie, and man it was yummy. Ofcourse, owl and firkin being a pub, the prices were pretty steep. In general, great place to eat some yummy food."

"Best burritos in Markham! I met the owner tonight and what an amazing and friendly guy. The staff are great too and very attentive to make sure your food is perfect. For example, my burritos was ripping upon rolling it up. So he got another tortilla and wrapped it up nice and tight. Great service. I ended up buying three burritos fish, bang bang chicken and naked chicken wrap. You can?t go wrong. I can?t wait to go back and try the jerk chicken burritos."

"I use the expression hit and miss; when it misses it seems to miss all around. On two occasions the wings were average and the staff were fine. More recently we found that the wings were not up to standard; the place not very clean and the service was not attentive. They are friendly enough.It seems that they need to raise the bar in terms of service standards, food quality and of course consistency."
