"This place has been here for a very long time. Definitely historic to cap Hill. With that, the food is dependable. Consistently good with variety. Not an overwhelming amount (this ain't cheesecake factory. Servers are pleasant and timely without being overbearing. I think they are supposed to have good drinks too."

"Utilizing the kitchen within Boxing Bear Brewery, Cafe Nom Nom brings bright, dynamic and intriguing flavors to pair with your pint of barley joy. I 've spoken this mantra going on a decade, now: aggressive beer is best enjoyed with Asian food. I don 't really care which varietal, gimme ramen, rice, something to chopstick or pepper with wasabi, whatever, I loves me some spice when I 'm tipping down a cold one. Owner Nam Tran didn 't disappoint with his first foray in Nob Hill, which morphed into a great food truck a year later, and now he has what I hope will be his home brick 'n mortar at a brewery which, gotta admit, I used to overlook, simply because they served panini sandwiches. Now, I 'm looking forward to my next visit. We fed a crew of six, including two picky kids, here 's my report: Lemongrass Pork Pot Stickers: standard, yummers. Saigon Street Quesadilla: Rather incredible, enormous, fluffy, crowd pleasing appetizer. Kids Quesadilla: Thumbs up all around. Bulgogi Banh Mi: Heck yeah, Howie, this is exactly what I was hoping for. Farmer 's Veggie Bowl: Feel good greens. Spicy Szechuan Noodles: I picked the best dish! And such intriguing noods! Ask them to make it super spicy. Or don 't. Wuss. Street Cup Noodles: Nah. Go get you some!"

"Asian Pear was a quick, casual eatery with a smaller menu. We had a shrimp egg roll, a chicken pot sticker apiece, the sweet and sour chicken bowl, and the Korean beef bowl. Kimchi, teriyaki sauce, and cucumber salad ramekins on the side. They have fountain drinks and cans of drinks, as well as an assortment of other drinks. I had mentioned to my husband I wanted to try the Korean vegetable pancake next time since he wasn 't interested. The server surprised us with samples along with our meals. The shrimp egg roll was very small and what I would consider a spring roll. The pot stickers were fine; nothing to write home about. The bowls were good, but I added the teriyaki sauce, leftover pot stickers sauce, and cucumber salad to my bowl to make it more saucy and diversify the flavors a bit. The sauce on the sweet and sour chicken wasn 't as sweet as I 'm used to, etc I actually enjoyed. The pancake was exceptional! That will be the reason I return. Absolutely my favorite thing on the menu, as well as my husband 's. It didn 't even need any sauce, which is unusual for me. Overall, a quick, casual eatery with a bit better than average food with a sole exceptional item. Get the pancake!"

"Excellent atmosphere, good beer selection, unique way to sell, by the ounce. But the really great surprise was the food. Ordered the ahí/avacodo burger, just wow. Excellent presentation, wonderful flavor. Rest of table ordered enjoyed other great menu items. If your looking for a place to hang this bar, 'Tap That ' is a great place to try and would recommend. Back again, service and food choice still excellent, you have to stop in."

"Finally we found a place that serves Korean Food .... in Rio Rancho! They have Japanese food too ... including sushi. We added a little spice to the Bulgogi plate. And, for the price, you will not be disappointed."
