"This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Me and my friends were very rowdy customers but the staff were all extremely polite and nice. We had the all you can eat course B and it was INCREDIBLE. The meat is all of the highest quality and tastes amazing. The side dishes were delicious and we were offered refills on them. Soju helped us have a great time."

"Finally in Richmond!. We finally have a Korean buffet in Richmond. If you have ever been to a Korean buffet you will know exactly what you are in for. A tremendous variety of Korean BBQ, salads, sushi, seafood and many other items all served fresh. Seoul Buffet delivered on this tradition. "Not worth paying $11 for the rice bowl I received. Steak was past overcooked, zero flavor, the bowl was half empty. The Tom yum sauce was extremely watery and had almost no flavor, No salt, nothing. I don't see what the good reviews are about and I had high hopes for this place. Extremely disappointed."

"We went to try the $29 all you can eat dinner and loved it. Great choices of fresh food to cook yourself at the table on a hot grill. Fast service, help on how to choose items. Loved it. Maybe the music was a bit noisey but there the place was full. Would go back again"

"DO NOT IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!Before visiting a new restaurant I typically read the reviews. Since the negative reviews were awhile ago my daughter and I decided to eat here. My daughter didn’t have an issue with her food -she ordered Ramen and said it was not the best but okay. I, on the other hand, ordered the chicken bulgogi and it was not palatable. So after a few delivery guys left I approached the counter and asked the young lady who took my order if I could get something different because my meal did not taste right she said let me let you talk to the chef. The chef asked what was wrong and I told him the bulgogi did not taste right. He continuously asked what was wrong with the taste and I told him I couldn’t explain what was wrong with flavor but I didn’t like it. He became condescending making statements like you do know every Korean restaurant food is not going to taste the same….he then proceeded to say “it cost me money to make this food” and I replied “it cost me money to eat this food.” At this point it was easy for me to see he was not trying to ensure that I had a positive experience so I threw the food away. Not sure, if the chef is also the owner but a word to the wise be careful how you interact with people because you never know who someone is and who they know ? I am glad to have a local food critic in my circle that specializes in local eats."

"We got an order of truffle fries. They were wonderful. A tiny bit heavy on the garlic but we enjoy them that way. Pictured is the beyond burger. It was OUTSTANDING. One of the best beyond burgers I've had. The Mac and cheese was very good too. We also got the tofu patty melt and a cesear salad which was also tasty. It was a bit noisy as the area is small and they were doing trivia but it wasn't unpleasant."

"Eating here was absolutely delicious! I've eaten a lot of time from them and still have to be disappointed. so far I have tried the catsu and boggi dishes, both are just as delicious! and I also decided to try a kimchi pfannkuchen and it was from this world! the ambiente of the place is really cool. beautiful people working who really seem their job and good music playing all the time. I would recommend j kogi to everyone"

"Great restaurant with fun dishes. The atmosphere is bright and colorful and the location is convenient. They had their music up a bit too loud for comfort but otherwise I enjoyed being there. The hostess was a bit abrupt but nice and my server was fantastic and made great recommendations for me. I ordered the Kung Bao Chicken appetizer and the Braised Korean Beef Taco as well as the Char Sui Pork Belly taco. All of them were really good but the pork belly was exceptional. Soft but crunchy and full of flavor, the pickled onion and the sauces really enhanced it without overwhelming it, I could have eaten three of them. The Kung Bao Chickrn was great and you get two in the order which is a great value. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the flavors that accompanied it were a really good balance. My only complaint was that the chicken to bun ratio is off so I had 1/3 of the bun left with no chicken. I think chopping the chicken or just slightly upsizing it would help, or adding a few things that would be good to eat on the bun without chicken. The Braised Korean beef was good but I probably wouldn't order it again. It was a bit chewy and difficult to eat and bland, in general it just didn't stand out. I wasn't unhappy with it but I could have taken or left it. Vegetarian options: They had several vegetarian options, including vegetarian tacos Dietary restrictions: You can get your tacos in tortillas or lettuce wraps Parking: Loads of parking nearby"

"Always great experience here. Not your usual restaurant location. Its inside the Korean supermarket. It is self served. The food is always great and you actually can see them cooking your order. I think it has a lot of value especially for lunch break. One advice from me especially in the spring or summer when we all mostly wear short sleeves, the place is vey well cooled so you might feel little bit chilly here. You want probably take with you some long sleeve hoodie or sweatshirt. Other than this i would come here again."
