"I go here for a Meetup that uses the upstairs to hang out and chat. The drinks are reasonably priced, staff friendly, plenty of room, and you can get food from surrounding places (there is even a pass through to the pizza place next door) and eat it there. The upstairs has and additional bar but I've never been there in peak time to see it open. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they never seem unable to turn the upstairs speakers down when our group is the only ones up there and it's hard to have a nice conversation with loud music."

"We really paid extra just to be seated in a less traffic area. The view was through windows and the staff looked at us as though we didn't belong. We could hear the happy hour crowd but we couldn't order from that menu. My burger was great. Nothing special. I support Oakland that's the only reason why I would recommend this place at least go once in your life."

"Came in hearing that Burma Superstar was super popular in the area so wanted to try it myself. I got the Superstar fries because it was the cheapest thing on the menu and the description sounded pretty delicious, describing it as a spicy, savoury, umamibomb with a condiment called balachaung. Once I started eating though, it tasted horrendous. I tossed most of it. I laterlearned after looking online that balachaung is made with shrimp, and I do not eat seafood. It would have been greatly helpfulif the description explained what balachaung was, especially for people with allergies."

"I have gone to Umami Burger dozens of time. There were dishes on the menu that I couldn't wait to eat. There was an alcoholic drink on the menu that had become my favorite. So, imagine my surprise and disappointment to find that they had completely revamped their menu and that my favorites were no longer on the menu. When I asked for the drink, I was informed that the bartender didn't know how to make it. How could such a popular drink that had been on the menu for years be something that the bartender now didn't know how to make? I truly wish that Umami Burger would bring back the items deleted on the current menu. Otherwise, it may be time to find an alternative restaurant."

"Beautiful restaurant on the lake merritt! I'm so glad we couldn't eat here anymore. fortunately, we sat outside at the lake standing in one. it was comfortable and the fresh air felt nice. the workers gave exceptional service and the food was delicious! the strawberry lava limonade (not shown) was a refreshing sweet and tart taste. we enjoyed the crab melt sandwich and seafood linguine (not shown) recommend this restaurant. it is perfect for a date or outing with family and friends!"

"I'm not super familiar with how things rock in the oak but the prices seem to be pretty especially considering that everything in the big city tends to run high. The food is amazing and affordable the staff is attending. They help put on amazing showsss.Wheelchair accessibility: Back entrance has wheel chair accessibility"

"Alas, was promised to be a very nice Vietnamese meal turned out to be a pretty tasteless American version of Vietnamese food. I am giving it to stars because the setting with the bar is pretty pleasant. Also a great location. The appetizers including thefried rolls and steamed buns were pretty good. It led us to expect something better. But then came the strangely cut papayasalad that had no taste. Anyone who has had papaya salad knows it should be sour and spicy and sweet. This had nothing. The ribswere coated in caramel glop. The curry was watery and tasted of bell peppers. I won?t even mention the other dishes. I am surethey mean well, but sorry it is not a Vietnamese restaurant!"
