"A great little fish and chip restaurant, best for takeaway as it is a little shop though you could sit on the chairs outside on busy High Street. Delicious flake with chips is a standout and while not extremely expensive, there are better value fish and chips in the local area. Fish on High is definitely the leader though for taste and quality. They are also very well organised, giving you a number when you call and an accurate estimate of the time the order will take to be ready. We have never had an incorrect item in our order (other than an extra potato cake or two). They do have some vegetarian options though we have never tried them.If you like quality tasting takeaway and don't mind paying a slight premium for it then come to this little gem."

"Watched as this bitter old woman yelled at the staff for several minutes as they did everything they could to accommodate her as she made claims that she 'd been waiting 40 minutes for her order and tried to force them to give her mine and my friends order to make up for it <br/>Staff were outstanding in the face of a bitter old hag, I left before the argument finished but this woman kept saying she 'd been waiting 40 minutes, and when they asked her what she ordered she said 'the burger with the onions and some chips ', couldn 't give them the name it was under and was making demands left right and centre <br/>To the lady who was verbally assaulting these poor employees at 9:30 on a Thursday night- fast food workers are not your slaves and it isn 't their fault that your alleged order didn 't go through, (although part of me doubts you actually did make this alleged order) and being vague and aggressive will not solve that <br/>To the workers- sorry you had to deal with such a cow. Nobody deserves that sort of shit. I hope she left you alone. <br/>Chips were good. Nuggets tasted kinda weird but my friend happily ate them for me."

"Consistently very good. There are two aspects of F&C joints that I think are underrated:<br/ 1. Consistency<br/ 2. Choice of hamburger bun.<br/ <br/ Valley Seafood comes up with a gold star on both of these which puts it in stark contrast to other places. I've been buying from these guys for about six or seven years now and I've never had a complaint with their food (although once a small tub of tomato sauce was past use by date).<br/ <br/ They also have a good handle on the hamburger bun I don't know where they get them from, but the buns they use are an excellent choice. They're not crusty but they hold together even when some moisture from the burger contents starts to affect the bread which is not all that common in my experience.<br/ <br/ I drive past about four other places in order to get my F&C from Valley Seafood it's probably the best in the area. Highly recommended."
