"Wasn't too impressed with the small menu. Made a choice and they were out of lobster! Food wasn't presented very well either veggies thrown on the plate. Rice pilaf was very plain. Just not 5 star."

"Ordered breakfast here since it's the only fast food open in the morning. It's just a usual McDonald's location. The people there are a bit slow in making your food, but I guess that means they never really go busy. Order. Pay. Get your stuff. Then leave."

"The service here is unbelievable. Jack at the front desk has been so helpful. He has made recommendations for tours and spas. Adrian was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I called the hotel while out to see if the front desk could find out if certain tours were still happening. Adrian looked everything up for us and gave us accurate information. The fireplace in the king suit is beautiful and gave off a lot of heat. The one small thing I didn’t like is there is not a lot of storage in the room for clothes. So we couldn’t really unpack a lot. But the room is stunning the bathroom layout is really cool. The pool is a bit cold but the hot tub was perfect. The pool area is very beautiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming out. Service: 5"

"When we tried to put in our order tonight (table of 5) for food the waitress took down one couples order then physically tried to take the menu from my hands along with the 2 other people. I was confused and said we still needed to order. She then made a comment about how she thought all that food was for everyone as they ordered a lot of food and that we were greedy. (They only got nachos and a platter) when my friend asked if they had any olives or celery when she got her ceaser (only had a lime) was told if they had it it would probably be in the drink already. I got the steak sandwich with a ceaser salad and the salad looked good but when I tried to eat it my mouth started to burn due to the amount of garlic that was in it. I personally love garlic but it tasted like I was eatting a whole uncooked clove. They did offer to exchange the side but I declined as the sides my friends had didn't taste great either and didn't want to waste food I wouldn't eat anyways. The rest of the food that came out was really disappointing especially the grey gravey that stayed in its bowl like a dq blizzard when you flipped it. I always tip especially if the service and food isn't always good because people do have off days but I've never been treated like that anywhere I've eaten before and it was really disrespectful. I will not eat or even drink here again. I don't recommend anyone trying this place out either."

"I’ve decided something. And that something is, the best time to toodle around Banff is earlier in the morning on a cool spring day. Siddall and I were in Banff for a conference and left on the final day seeking breakfast in town. At around 9:30, we were ushered right to a table at Melissa’s Missteak."

"Our room was comfortable and had a log fire. Sadly it smoked us out. Not sure if it was us or the fire at fault . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast there a couple of times and there was a good choice and decent portions. Given it a 4 as getting into downtown Banff meant catching a bus or a 25 minute walk. It just meant that we chose to stay in rather than go out in the evening because it was an effort. However, it is situated in a lovely location so I would say just be aware that you are further away from all the local amenities in Banff."

"It is close enough to what you would get from a real poutine from the province of Quebec while the beautiful surrounding of Banff. A bit pricey however but we’re in Banff so as expected. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"Was able to do walk in for brunch twice (group of 4 on a weekday . Service is great friendly and food wait time was moderate. Love the aesthetic gives a mix of vintage and modern vibes. All dishes that were filling. My favorite were their version of hash browns, they were extra crunchy which is right up my alley. My friend enjoyed their oatmeal, she even considered ordering it again on our second visit. But we both ended up ordering their pancakes, which came out quite fluffy and not too sweet (which we like! . We also ordered a side of fruits which was a nice touch with the pancakes. Would recommend!"
