"This restaurant is fairly new and they are trying hard. The day we were there it was fairly quiet which is a shame as the food was good and deserves to be better known. The place is a little stark - lots of hard services and quite dark. The staff are pleasant and the beers are interesting."

"Has it changed hands again? New operator? 4/10 $31.00 Spaghetti Pescatore, very ordinary; bland, no starchiness and ordinary seafood ingredients. 2/10 $36.00 300 gm MSA Grade Porterhouse; is it a Porterhouse cut? I have never seen a Porterhouse cut that wide and thin. Is it...300 gm? Definitely not. Thick Red wine jus??? Plus point, it was cooked as ordered, medium rare. MISLEADING Menu see photo The Stone Grill experience, it was cooked in the kitchen not on the table, for the same price. There are pubs who serve better Porterhouse, at less than half the price on their Steak nights. Their only saving grace is their wine list, commendable, easy to enjoy and well priced. Fortunately, we are using EatClub 30% discount. JT Sep 2019 PREVIOUS 3* It has improved by a long shot .... happiness. Great location, come early as parking can be a nightmare in Camberwell. We've been there a few times in the last 2 years or so, either dinners and brunches, but mostly brunches. Food can be a hit miss experience, some are just fantastic like the Tuscan Omelette and some can be bland, lack of identity like the Alforno baked Eggs, but quality and presentation has improved. Yes, service is a bit here and there, some still do not know what to do in a very busy and big establishment, I'm sure it will improved; guys water on the table when patrons arrived please .... pro active, how's your morning? What can make your morning better? Would you like to try our fantastic coffee? BTW, their coffee has improved too, don't like the beans they used for their Short Black/Espresso, don't think that they are fresh this morning, but the house blend beans for their Lattes is fantastic. Keep on improving guys, enjoyable morning, thank you."

"We visited this place after we had seen reviews on social media. When we were there, we saw a line to get in. the venue is quite small, and the staff did not seem to manage/ turn the tables too well. we had luck getting a little table, but other people only after we've been there for minutes. eating was great and how the children said. that are worth waiting. prices on par with other caffes. the breakfastfritters were soouo good! definitely worth a taste. the burgers were fresh, the milkshakes thick. plus: eating is good! high chair available friendliness of staff could be better. would be great if the venue was a little bigger!"

"Stopped in here on way back from a busy morning house hunting, not planned it was just where we got a park and we were not disappointed! It was fabulous, creative menu with cuisines from all over the world, coffee was great, staff were great, ambiance cozy n lovely! A pleasant surprise, will be back! Had the tapioca calamari with green papaya salad n hubby had morrocan chicken sandwich, both delicious."

"We recently returned to Zouz and the food, service and ambience were even better than our previous visit. I opted for the kale, avocado and feta omelette, with chorizo and dark rye. It was scrumptious and filling. My two fellow diners loved their poached eggs Royale and reported their salmon serving generous. We'll return, again..."

"We called in to this cafe on a cold and rainy Saturday lunchtime and were pleasantly surprised, we were met with a warm interior temperature and a very warm welcome by the staff. We had not realised that this venue was a Tea Specialist, they serve many varieties of tea in the cafe, they also have a large tasting room for a more thorough tea tasting experience. We ordered Poached Eggs on Sourdough with a few extra goodies on the side, a pot of tea and long black coffee. Food and beverages were yummy, service prompt and friendly, prices very reasonable. They have a courtyard for warm weather dining, tea making paraphernalia and gift packs available for sale along with a wonderful selection of tea leaves.
