"Food was good. Ordered a blue Hawaiian drink and they didn't put the vodka in, just rum. Bartender claimed that's the only recipe he found. They charged me 9.50 for the drink and then 8.50 for the shot of vodka that should have been in there to begin with. The waitress wouldn't take the vodka off the bill so I returned the drink since it was made incorrectly. Trying to charge me $18 for ONE drink is ridiculous."

"Nothing beautiful, just good old cafe style food. The diner remembers an old 1950s vintage. The food is scratch-cooked and tastes great. I ordered the chicken pig that comes with 2 eggs and a mountain of haash brown and either toast or pancakes. Oi! It's a lot of food, but it's worth it."

"What a great location and wonderful diner. Bob has just transported me to another dimension in the timeless comfort of a long-term diner. If this is a time in LA, if not even a plate of pasta is regularly affordable under $20 in LA, this place offers dishes at a reasonable price and the food is well generous portions. My Hamburger was a simple classic American cheeseburger combination with frits and a salad. It wasn't the burger of my life, and exactly what I expected. Just an uncomplicated classic and good. Adding a chocolate malt milkshake was a perfect end to the meal. Oh, if you like goods, they have a good selection of teas, stickers, patches, cups and kinks that would make perfect LA souvenirs. Here I would like to take a tourist who wants a real American experience in LA."

"We were in town to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday; party of 6. I had asked for a nice view table, but unfortunately, they could not accommodate as it was prom weekend- understood. 2 dinners of scallops, 1 fried shrimp, 1 stuffed rockfish, 1 stuffed shrimp and 1 cedar planked salmon. All good but salmon was a bit overdone. Alanna, our server was awesome. All in all a good meal and a good time"

"I'm was very to surprised to see these reviews after visiting. While the restaurant is small, the food was fresh, fast, and cheap! We stopped in on a Saturday evening after seeing the $1 Wow specials. $1 Sake, wine, or beer for happy hour! The food we ordered was quick and much better and fresher than we expected given the price point. Overall a nice little place for some quick and fast sushi and drinks."
