"Let's make one thing certain, Tikka Town is a carry out, not a restaurant. It's a great wee carry out; Indian food, pizza, kebab, burgers, you'll surely find something you like. They open late so you'll not be disappointed. I love the donner kebab on pitta and the pepperoni pizza is delicious. I've never tried the Indian grub but those I know who have, rate it highly. "We have visited the snug several times in the last weeks and found that it offers good food and good service. that is it. it does not have a huge menu. if they like simple food like fish and chips etc., then its good...value with good service in beautiful clean environment, we will continue to be frequent visitors."

"After a busy day I decided to go and buy fish and pasties for myself and my family. I had food from this takeaway before and it was very nice. However on this occasion I was really disappointed. The fish was swimming in grease and the batter looked very un inviting. The pasties had been thrown into the packaging together and when I opened the paper they simply fell apart. One of the pasties had bits of black batter on it. There were large chunks of onion in the pasties. I returned to the shop and complained and they offered to cook new food for me however I declined and got a refund instead. A very bad experience"

"Good fish and chips are hard to find but this wee place serves them up just right time after time... Turn up and order (then wait in your car til your number is called out) or call, order and then go pick it up. The menu is on the facebook page. If you're in Newcastle I'd recommend you try the fish supper for yourselves..."
