"It was Easter Sunday and the restaurant was booked out. I understand that. But a review needs to be honest. We expected to wait a while as it was busy. One of our meals arrived. Then nothing for 20 minutes. When we queried this, it appeared that the other meals for the remaining three of us had been cancelled. We were offered an apology and two drinks for the remaining three of us (not three drinks because one dish was a sharing dish for two people). Then we were told that they had run out of the beer they had offered us. In fairness, we were then given a bottle of wine. When the other meals arrived, the steak and chorizo dish was a real disappointment. The steak was tough and fatty in parts. This dish cost $85 including supplement.. We pointed this out but no refund was offered. It should have been. The waiting staff were polite and the venue is lovely. But the experience overall did not match the price we paid."
