"Auf der Suche nach einem Lokal, wo man auch unter der Woche noch in angenehmem, aber nicht überkandideltem Ambiente zu bezahlbaren Preisen ein qualitativ ordentliches Essen bekommt, stießen wir auf den Roten Ochsen. Das Lokal ist von außen ein fränkisches Kleinod, auch von innen sehr angenehm eingerichtet, die Deko geschmackvoll, Licht wie Musik gedämpft. Die Bedienung war freundlich und flink. Die Speisekarte wagt den Spagat zwischen fränkischer und mediterraner Kost unter deutlichem Einbezug amerikanischer Steak & Hamburger Kultur. Dieser Spagat gelingt selten, ja sehr selten so gut wie hier, denn hier weiss man, wie ein Hamburger auch schmecken kann und zuzubereiten ist. Das hat rein gar nichts mehr mit McDonald's zu tun, wo man uns z.B. nie antrifft. Wer mal RICHTIGE Burger in einem ordentlichen Lokal in den USA gegessen hat, weiss, wovon ich spreche. Dieser Cheese bzw. Schweizerburger war qualitativ, geschmacklich und von der Präsentation her fantastisch und alles hausgemacht! Nie bestelle ich in einem Lokal mit fränkischem Ambiente sonst einen Burger und nie lasse ich mir eine Flasche Ketchup bringen! Das möchte ich mal klarstellen. Doch hier habe ich es getan und es war alles vorzüglich, bis hin zum ordentlich gezapften und stilecht im Steinkrug servierten Kellerbier vom Fass. Auch der Jägerbraten meiner Frau war einwandfrei.Warum dann ein Punkt Abzug? Ganz einfach. Ja, die Farmer Kartoffeln als Beilage standen nicht beim Burger mit auf der Karte. Ja, bei McDonald's muss man die Beilage auch extra bezahlen. Doch an McDonald's will sich das Lokal ja wohl nicht messen lassen. Hier gibt es z.B. schicke Tischdecken, dort nicht. Als mich die freundliche Bedienung wie selbstverständlich fragte, ob ich lieber Pommes oder Kartoffeln dazu hätte, hatte ich keinen Zweifel mehr, dass die Beilage in dieser Lokalität im Preis eingeschlossen sei, zumal ich auf der Karte keine Rubrik Beilagen gesehen hatte.Dann doch noch mal 2,80 für ein paar Kartöffelchen zu berechnen finden wir übertrieben, zumal es den ansonsten sehr guten Eindruck am Ende etwas verwässert und der Burger mit 7 Euro ja für fränkische Verhältnisse auch nicht ganz billig war (Für Nicht-Franken zum Vergleich: Das ist mehr als ein Schweinebraten mit Kloß und Salatteller gemeinhin hier kostet). Dies soll mein generelles Wohlwollen dem Lokal gegenüber aber nicht schmälern. Ich plädiere nur für etwas mehr Transparenz bei der Karte und Preisgestaltung und falls man sich doch auf McDonald's berufen sollte, meine Empfehlung: Dort heißt es immer "Möchten Sie vielleicht Pommes DAZU?" Dann wird klarer, dass da auch bei der Rechnung noch etwas DAZU kommt. Vielleicht war es ja ein Versehen."

"In any case, the best pub in the city.Beautiful location, class atmosphere and the Staff is top-class.The boss is simply a cool type and even throws the bar with beer cocktails and all about it.The services are also top. Fast, accommodating and always for a fun. There is a wide selection of outstanding burgers, curry sausages and smaller snacks such as occupied fladen, cheese fries, etc.I have not yet tried anything bad and I am thrilled every time."

You only need money when you go, here everything is stored on the chip and when you go is loaded. The bathroom itself is now quite small, under thermal bath we introduce ourselves something else. Steam bath, small flat basin, a pool with floats and an outdoor area. There is something for the children in the sports pool. There is a self-service area here, but there are many employees who help you. The food is ordered at the counter, paid with the chip and you get a table number with the hint, the food we bring it to the table. A good appetite is desired during delivery. The service and output forces, so to speak the whole team, are recognizable here by the red T-shirts with the Thermo-Spa logo. The salad can be joined to the salad bar itself. We didn't forget if it was weighed by plates. There are no gourmet cuisine or any delicacies, you also need to know where to eat. We think everyone finds something. Currywurst, Schnitzel, Burger, Würstl, but also vegetarian and desserts. There is also a changing weekly map. From the price we also find no abscess, as in many bathrooms. The soft wheat costs €2.80, the hot chocolate €2.90. We have enjoyed Currywurst with Pommes and optionally with extra sharp for 5,60 € and two baked Camenberts with toast and cranberries for 5,80 € In the dining area, or in the whole bathroom, no glasses are allowed, fully understandable. There are always plastic cups. What we found very beautiful, there is a wheat glass, although made of plastic, but better for the eye, it is quite different in hand – though alcohol-free. They have a good selection of drinks, including various beers. We chose Schneider Weisse alcohol-free and opened the bottle of the lady and added the “glass”. She also offered to tickle it. Cutlery and napkins are taken from the stands, the napkins have their own imprint of the spa. The Camenbert, you know and is also clear, most likely a finished product. The food area is surrounded by plants, but only artificial. There are plastic tables and plastic chairs in the colors white-green-brown. mixed. Obviously, some finished products are used here as we think. It is a good quality and taste. We have weighed what we already have in bathrooms and paid for it and find that the food here is worth 4 stars. It's self-service, but we think they deserve stars. Sufficient staff, all friendly, helpful, it is freshly prepared and served. We never experienced this in a bathroom with self-service. The stars deserve it, 4.5 stars. Ambience, yes, we should forgive. We leave it out, everyone should form their own number of stars through the description and photos. We didn't find it bad. In cleanliness we must say a great praise, there are enough staff to keep everything clean during our visit. Everything is clean in the output area. The salad buffet is always controlled and wiped. As soon as the guests got up, the tables were wiped off, see if what was under the tables and the chairs were put back properly. The bags with the trays for unloading were also regularly emptied, 4.5 stars."
