"Mediocre visit. It was ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Went before a movie; 2 cheeseburgers w/ everything no drinks. Also split a wedge which was tasty but you could tell it had been sitting in the frig for a while bc the lettuce endcuts were brown. Blue cheese salad dressing very good. Burgers were extremely bland. Just no flavor in the beef there were no char marks that IMO adds flavor what makes the meat tastier. Burgers sat on a ciabatta roll that was too big. Disappointed bc a good way to tell if a restaurant is special or not is how they cook a simple hamburger—which is pretty hard to mess up."

"My wife and I had an unpleasant event at the Players Restaurant last night that his customers should know. My wife has been restricted to a wheel chair in the last 7 weeks due to a fracture and an operation at the ankle. That was embarrassing for her and as a result she had not left our home for a dinner or any social events. On Thursday night, her sister and I talked to her for dinner, but our time was limited because I had a meeting at 7:30. We live about a mile of players. After we drove halfway, I called the restaurant and asked if they could have a party of 3, including a lady in a wheel chair, and that we would be there in 2 minutes, and was told there was no problem. When we arrived 2 minutes later, the owner told us that there is no table, and that as my wife sat in a wheel chair, no problem with us would wait for a table. I told him I called two minutes ago and said there was a table for us, and since I had a meeting, we would go. He shouted to us “then turns around – see the door – go and never come back, get the f ___(4 letters expletive) from here”. I told him there was no reason to raise his voice. That made him scream louder and he said, "Go on yourself! Everyone in the restaurant has to hear him screaming and the people we saw on our way looked amazed and shocked. My wife and sister trembled and embarrassed. I was angry, but polite. We didn't provoke this outbreak. It wasn't known. And I think the people of our community should know about it when they think about going to players."

"Delicious chicken pita sandwich! Chicken was seasoned well, and cooked to a slight char like a shish kabob. Perfect proportions of thinly sliced onion/ tomatoes/ red pepper/ green pepper. The pita bread itself was fresh. My sauce was packaged separately- which prevented soggy pita bread Prompt delivery as promised. Packaged neatly and securely with napkins and plastic fork spoon. Definitely will be ordering from here again!!"
