"We invited two friends who are not vegan to eat with us. they were astonished as the taste of eating and were very happy with the meal. we were also very happy with how delicate the meal. it is a really nice place to have a beautiful French cuisine, but vegan. the price is definitiw not at the lower end, but we thought that money with the food and the service was well spent."

"This is a cool venue it’s an upmarket food court with a fun vibe underneath Jardine House right by Central MTR. There are various stalls sharing seating and Treehouse is one of them. From my experience at their main location, I highly rate the wraps as they taste amazing, and sit really well in my stomach so I feel full but never heavy or bloated afterwards. Usually order a long wrap. Today i tried the vegan sourdough margherita pizza while my husband had a burger combo. My husband said the burger was just ok he found the patty to be needing more flavour, but loved the sweet potato fries and the vegan mayo dip. I liked the taste of the pizza but it is very thin and light so you may want to add something else onto your meal. As this is a healthy take, the base is more like a flatbread than a typical pizza, and I found it cooled down quickly (within 3 minutes), so you need to eat it fast I enjoyed their house made vegan cheese and all the flavours."

"On the 15th floor with a view of the boats on the water, they could come here only for the lookout! specialized in coffee (which is strong) and tee, and have a coffee car in the ground floor on weekdays. stretched room with friendly service. the pumpkin vieggie wrap "rolex was fantastic, and the beyond burger, served on a gluten-free injera bee (that looks/taste like a pancake) was also great. Nice to see more options for vegan and vegetarian on this side of the hk island."

"I have a simple bagel with avocado after my my mysore class. Wünsch, they had more hearty protein-filled options, but that was still delicious! They season the avocado with peppers, which gives the meal a really nice kick. Also appreciate the availability of a coffee ball combo price. Her soy milk coffees are amazing. Never get the almond milk – but for soya they use Happy Soy Boy and it's incredible!"

"I've uploaded a photo of the vegan options available in this cafe, sent to me by a staff member (correct as of 2 april 2017). while you can't go wrong with salads, pastas in my experience are hit and miss (tried the tom yam pasta this time too sweet and bland, too little veg). still a nice place to chill out alone or with a group this is a quiet, spacious, charming hideaway in bustling wanchai, surrounded by potted plants and greenery from its sister shop. go there during lunch time (after 2 pm to avoid the crowds) for a better deal. for hkd68, i had pumpkin/coconut soup and soba with mixed veg, which was all right though the soy sauce was a little sweet. the soup while also a tad sweet was delicious with just the right balance of coconut. among the other main options today were tom yam pasta; salad; and some kind of bagel. these can be paired with either soup, salad or a hot drink. from what i recall from previous visits, the salads are pretty hearty and pack a nutritious punch. dinner options are limited to 4 salads, 3 pastas, 2 soups, 2 starters, plus all day breakfast. as can be expected, prices are much steeper than lunch (you'll find their menu on their website). i liked the quinoa salad stack with fig and hazelnut, with its its exquisite, instagram-worthy presentation (i think flower petals were thrown in but can't see myself regularly forking out $95 for this dish. while the black olive, sun-dried tomato and pine nut tagliatelle was okay, the poached egg, cheese and saffron risotto was bland, even for someone who isn't used to much salt. worth a visit just for its ambience or if you need some breathing space in wanchai. the coffees are good too. "This healthy eating cafe is such a hidden gem in the Sheung Wan district. As you can tell from the name, this little restaurant boasts of its organic ingredient in its foods to offer. Once you enter the cafe, you can notice a little corner filled with Dandy's own branded products and promotional materials for a healthy and organic lifestyle. You can also see the owner Vivi Cheung's master/certificate in nutrition from a local HK university right in the corner. What's most valuable and appealing to me from Dandy's is that on their menu they have listed all the major ingredients and the COMPLETE NUTRITION INFORMATION BREAKDOWN for each food item, including desserts! I have yet to see any other restaurant to be able to provide this on their menu. But we all know that knowing what exactly goes into your food can be extremely important to eating healthy. But do note that this cafe also offers non-vegan and non-vegetarian food items. The idea is more on gluten-free and low-GI food. Also, the foods are pretty traditional Western dishes like pastas, fish steaks, etc. Nothing as creative as Grassroots. For the dessert, I've tried their gluten-free almond cake, which is mainly made of almond flour. The cake was pretty moist but the vanilla extract flavor was very overpowering....In terms of flavor I think it's average, nothing special. But hey, we know that's all good stuff that goes into it, and that's all it needs. dandy00P097DDEF723A27C2E77Bl My ratings: Flavor Environment (The space is a bit small and dark. Price (A bit pricey, all salads are above $100HKD Location Vegan/gluten-free options: Overall Recommendation: Salads and low GI desserts See my photos and the full list of my Top 5 Restaurants for Eating Vegan/Gluten-Free in Hong Kong: t.cn/R5f7GjD"

"It was quite difficult to find this place as the restaurant is located on a floor in a large building. they have to take the up, once on the right, they immediately enter the restaurant. felt like back to the 20th century with the retro interior. you could see that they are oriented towards this place. many options. eating is okay, but it doesn't matter. we have a suppe of the house as an appetizer, we did not finish it because it was already cooled when we got it. the burger was tasty, but we expected more of the sweet potatoes. overall cool experience, but enough only for a time. too expensive for what they get, according to my opinion. Remember that they are in the middle of the day (15:00-17:30, so a late lunch is not quite possible. updated by previous review on 2023-01-02"

"I keep coming back to Veggie Express for their food (their monkey head mushroom w beancurd and broccoli dish!! and will continue to, however their service is pretty bad. Staff are pretty clueless about their menus, about which dishes contain dairy, and overall just seem like they do not want to be there. Other than this, everything else is great."
