"Aussies enjoyed afternoon drinks at the bar before catching the skysail across the road. lovely staff and plenty of seating inside and out.....no clean tables available after lunch rush we guess....some staff standing around checking phones didn't help. Makes it difficult when you have elderly people in your group who would like to sit down at a clean seat and table."

"I ordered the calamari and chips for $18. Was a little disappointed when only 5 bits of calamari some chips and dry beetroot in my salad came out. My boyfriend ordered a spicey chicken burger which wasn't spicey at all. Other then the food service, was good and the staff were friendlyProbably wouldn't eat there again.On a more positive note there coffee was good."

"My family of boys stopped here for some ice cream on a hot day and it was delicious. They have a nice large tent area covering the sidewalk which provides tons of shade as well as some tables and chairs. We took ours away...as we continued walking towards the train but highly recommend this place if looking for a sweet treat."

"The barista is a hoot, but I could see why some people could be rubbed the wrong way. We, however, enjoyed the conversation, even though it bounced around a bit. We had originally stopped in to see about some coffee to take with us, as we were staying in the area, and the barista told us they were sold out. After seeing how well we took the news and thanking him anyway, he told us to hold on, and he was able to scrounge up a pound for us. Pleasant guy, seems to have some views that could rub sandle-and-sock wearing visitors just stopping in for a hot minute the wrong way but for us, but it was a welcome conversation that was different from the tourist-friendly pleasantries found throughout much of the rest of town.The coffee itself was/is (we still have a little left) excellent coffee, a great flavor that suits both of us, which is rare since I prefer light-to-medium roasts and she prefers dark roast. Make sure you know what kind of grind you need if you are getting take-out, not all press grinds seem to be the same."

"Owner is really friendly and passionate about making fudge. She let us try some made with chillis, wow pretty powerful but something really unique. I've never seen so many different fudge flavours in my life."
