"Open srating restaurant that has you order at the bar which is different. Nice venue with decent prices with the exception of their alcoholic beverages which cost about 15 bucks for most drinks. Would have been 5 stars except for getting our order incorrect and the staff who brings the food out essentially just delivers the food and immediately walks away. This leaves you constantly going to the front for literally anything."

"During our LA trip, we had an unpleasant experience with poor service at The alley restaurant. Our Coke arrived 25 minutes right after our food was served, the waitress neglected water refills, and ketchup never arrived after we asked for additional. The overall food quality, particularly the flavorless Garlic Chicken wings and overly fried calamari steak, left us disappointed. Despite our family of four hoping for a positive experience, we unanimously agreed on the subpar service and disappointing fried dishes."

"Last weekend I went to dinner with my wife and kids, we didn’t have a reservation and they were able to give us a table right away. Service was great, Isacc did a great job, he was really knowledgeable, funny, fast and his bussers and food runners were great too. Chef Edgard even came out at one point and he talked to us for a little even though the kitchen seemed very busy, he brought out some goddies for our kids and my wife. We appreciate the super good experience we had and we’ll be going back to the Newport flemmings for sure!"

"Beautiful ambience, seated quickly. Appetizers were good. They do NOT have a full bar. Drinks were less alcohol more sweet. Very busy at 530pm on a Friday. Nice server. Entrees ok. Rigatoni not very flavorful and needed more meat sauce. I would go again but maybe only for Appetizers and salads."

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."
