"Lovely evening at the union inn, landlord and staff make you feel very welcome and are very accommodating.. food portions are very generous.. suggestion would be not to eat much before eating at the union inn as you most definitely won’t leave feeling hungry!! "Nice looking place to eat and drink with a good atmosphere. We had lunch and a really generous sandwich and fries combo with a coffee. Reasonable cost and lots to eat. We will be going back. Service was friendly and pretty swift too."

"I had a traditional cornish pasty for lunch, and my friend had a cheese and wobbly pasty, both were delicious. I also had a coffee, Colombian absolutely beautiful, the best I have tasted for a long time. all very recommended."

"Been here in the past, no problem. However this time was different. Found one of only a few tables left, it was busy. Tables were a mess. A queue of over a dozen people for the bar, one person serving and after 5 minutes it hadn't moved. Gave up and left. A full pub at lunchtime and one person at the bar, ridiculous!"

"A locals favourite. This pub is really convenient for families to get together and the access is generally pretty good for an older pub. There's a huge car park with a few disabled parking spaces, and two ramped access paths at either side of the building whether you want to be in the pub, or the restaurant side. Both are long shallow ramps and step free entrances, inside has enough room to move but the pub is busy and there are a lot of tables so it can be a little cramped during Sunday and peak times.
